My husband and I stayed here along with two of our children and our grandchildren ranging in age from 1 1/2 to ten years old. It was a great place for our grandchildren, its a series of five small lakes (almost pond-size) - going from one end to the other took about 25 minutes in a kayak. It was quiet, while there were some other anglers we saw, typically it was one or two kayaks or canoes, and often there was no one but us. We saw lots of wildlife and my 6 year old granddaughter caught her first fish. She was so excited. The grandchildren loved the lilypad, the kayak, paddleboards and paddleboat, along with fishing off the deck. There is a slight hill from the beach to the house - takes about 3 minutes to walk down and maybe 6 to walk up - beautiful pines line the walkway. The house is beautiful. Large kitchen and dining room table, and two living rooms. The grandchildren, two aged three 1/2, loved the second living room where they could feel like they were on their own playing, but we could see them. There was lots of room to run and play for them. The master suite at the top of the house was huge, with a large walk-in closet (where the 1-year-old slept in the Pack & Play, provided by the hosts). Vicky, our main host was extremely communicative, every question we had was answered withing 10-15 minutes. Since the house sits on the top of a hill, the views of the sunrise over the lake were gorgeous. There is a large wraparound deck. It was a lovely week.
