We loved our stay! The location was amazing—convenient to shopping, beautiful sunset views, the train station, and the ferries. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the room was comfortable and a nice size. Most importantly, everyone was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. We would absolutely stay here again and happily recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento.

OMG!!! This was the best and most beautiful place we stayed in Italy. The bed was very comfortable. The room had two large doors, one opened to a nice private terrace we could sit and have a coffee or dinner, the other opened to the square with an absolutely beautiful view. The staff at the front counter were very helpful with any questions we had and called a cab for us when we requested it. I would come back to this property again in a heartbeat. Sorrento is a gorgeous place and staying with this property made it even better. Did not want to leave.

Excellent location, right on PIAZZA TASSO,! Not afar walk to Marina Picollo where you take ferries to other sites. Excellent choice of restaurants and shopping. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Only downside although it didn’t affect me is staff is onsite only certain hours. I’m not sure maybe 2- 8 pm. They may have been available by phone. We didn’t need anything.

The hotel or guesthouse is located on the 3rd floor of a building immediately off of the main square. The location is A++ as many tours, taxis, buses, etc, leave from Tasso square and the balcony looks directly out on the main shopping street, I stayed 5 nights and was there on the weekend, and while it was lively fairly late into the night, I couldn’t hear it in my room that faced the main shopping avenue leading to the square (the building is kind of on a corner of the square.) The AC works but is loud and kind of finicky to control. The space was large with a separate living room area with a daybed and a king size bed in the bedroom. Shower was fine- water was hot in shower. Furnishings could use some updating. However, it was clean and spacious. Sky TV in the bedroom. All in all, it was a convenient and comfortable stay.

La Casa Dell’Orologio made our one week stay in Sorrento extra special. The hotel is right on the Piazza Tasso, and so close to the beaches and marina. Transportation to the Amalfi Coast is a short walk, and so convenient. The room was spotless and the maid service was perfect. Simona is a very kind and personable host who will answer all your questions about things to do while in Sorrento. There can be no better place to stay for an Amalfi coast vacation.

The place is right in the center and close to everything. Very nicely done. Powerful air conditioner - cools the room in no time. Good size bathroom. Quiet even though the rooms were right above the Main Street. If arriving by car, parking garage is a 3 min walk.

Incredible location, literally right in the Piazza Taso! Clean, comfy, Simona was an incredible help with so many of our plans and questions. You walk down and there are restaurants and shopping within feet. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful part of Italy and highly recommend staying here.
