Excellent place, comfortable, very clean, good location, very friendly staff

Great value for money, although the location was not as central as other YHAs and there's a 10-minute walk to the nearest underground station (there's a bus stop outside the hotel which might be helpful, though). Luggage storage costs 2 or 3 GBP depending on the size of your locker (payable each time you open/close the locker). 24-hour reception is very helpful, and the pleasant bar closing at 2am also nice for a drink/coffee after getting in late. Beds and rooms were basic but clean, no...

I had a double bed room with a large balcony overlooking the Rotherhithe pier and across the Thames, Canary Wharf pier. It was a really nice touch having the balcony as the hotel was/is currently facing issues with their ac system not working around the hotel so I could leave my balcony door open for cool air as I slept. I did not have breakfast so I cannot speak on that. My room had bits of dirt here and there but nothing too crazy to complain to the staff about. Staff are friendly and helpful....

Nice place for short times

I enjoyed the staff team of hostel, I enjoyed of location, I enjoyed the size bed, but I no enjoyed when someone else ate my cheese and eggs in refrigerator. Unfortunately there are a lot of people in hostel and bad person stolen my food. Thanks.

One of the best and most convenient hostels I've stayed at in London. Great location. Clean safe and has almost all the basics. There is storage under beds, own lock needed. Kitchen for self-catering but a big let-down is no basic free breakfast. Also, no oven or grill/toaster but everything else is there. Greatest plus was the staff. The shaven-headed young night receptionist was especially helpful. I will be using this hostel for all future London visits for now.
