"The room was clean, modern and spacious. The staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay again. The VIP benefit was not discussed when we checked in, I had to ask about it. There were no notes on the system. I was given this benefit but only because I was a previous customer who had stayed at Aoex hotels on numerous occasions. "

"We had a wonderful stay at The Scott. They really pay attention to detail, the staff are all lovely and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety to choose from including delicious pastries. It's in a nice quiet area but close enough to the city centre. The decor and design of the hotel is so charming which enhanced the magical feel of Edinburgh. My only regret is not staying longer!"

"To start with, it's an ideal location for visiting Edinburgh's historic district. With much within walking distance getting to see this beautiful city was easy. The hotel, as an anchor point was ideal. Service levels were, as one would expect from a premium brand, superb. From the concierge and the entire support team, through the front desk staff attending to guests' needs and inquiries, to the staff in the hotel's Eve restaurant, who provided an excellent level of attention. (I can't speak for the other restaurant as we did not have the opportunity to patronise that establishment.) I will gladly return to this hotel in the future. "
