"Really enjoyed our stay. Great location. Nice pubs and eateries close by. Not having phone chargers and sockets at bedside I felt was out of sorts for a modern hotel. My wife had a lead and socket on her side. I had a charger in the opposite corner under a shelf beside a wardrobe. Hidden. Only my wife copped it when plugging in the hairdryer we wouldn’t have noticed it. Minor crib I know. But easily sorted for future guests."

"Everything from the beginning of our stay was amazing. Archie at the front desk is an asset to your company and deserves a large raise. We are from the United States and never felt more welcome from the minute we stepped in this hotel. I'm pretty sure It had to do with Archie at the front desk his personality and love for his job made our stay one of the best. As for a woman at the front desk was not nice to my husband one of the days we were there. We are here in Scotland for another 4 weeks and hope to meet more people like Archie. His knowledge of where to go what to do and what to see was perfect. I must add the room was clean , big & the view was absolutely amazing as we had a room with a balcony. We would like to Thank Archie for an amazing reception. Claudette & John"
