"We are a blended family of 7 who wanted the perfect getaway and this trip and stay did not disappoint. The location and house were exactly what we were looking for. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. It gave all of us a warm home feeling (we took so many pictures to have ideas that we will implement in our own home). "This property is more than just a house, it is a home and it makes you feel right at home. The owner is very easy to work with and very accommodating. And the most important things- comfortable bed and hot water were both above standards. I cannot say enough about this home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back in an instant."

We arrived in the middle of a snowstorm, and it was great to have the one-car attached garage, a heating system that worked well, someone who plowed the driveway and shoveled the snow shortly after we arrived, and a comfortable hot shower. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. Beds are comfortable, and there is a lot of closet space and drawer space. We would stay here again."

"Some houses say they are "on the beach". This gem is ON THE BEACH really! Just steps from the back porch. We LOVED it. We traveled to different places daily but always made sure we were back in time for our beach walks. Our host was fabulous so I can't say enough about her quick actions with any issues we had. We did have a small housekeeping issue but that was definitely not her fault and she fixed that issue quickly. I would most highly recommend this house to anyone and everyone. The house...

"We got off to a rough start with a broken keypad. It was absolutely poring and the code did not work to get into the house. After great difficulty with service, we contacted the owner and located a key to get in. The house is beautiful with lots of space. There was plenty of room for six women. The house was close to restaurants and shopping. We had a very nice experience. Our only issue was the cleanliness of the house. I spoke to the owner about it and they acknowledged that there were issues...

"This property and its owner couldn't have been better. The house is perfect for a family and I have never had a house that was as well-stocked with everything we could imagine. This house had it all. The location was perfect for visits to several beaches, Portland and its iconic Old Port, Portland Headlight and a trip on a lobster fishing boat for the young ones. And, any correspondence I had with the owner was answered quickly."

"Spent our 16th anniversary at Zen this past week. Really lovely time. The house is exactly like it appears. The hot tub is wonderful! The bathroom is great. All the amenities and thoughtful touches meant so much! It had just about everything you needed. The ONLY complaint and thing that was missing -- was real sugar for coffee. I don't do artificial sweeteners, and that was all that was stocked. Such an insignificant "complaint" though, and easily fixed with a run to the store. Loved our time...

"We stayed a few nights in November while in town for a wedding. The apartment was just as pictured and described, with extra blankets and such for warming up. I had an issue with the fireplace in the bedroom not coming on. I contacted the property manager who reached out to the owner and someone was there to fix it within an hour. Only other negative was the hot water in the shower didn’t last very long. Otherwise, I’d was very cozy and comfortable, very quiet at night. The apartment is close...

"Location of this home was on delightful Castco Bay. It was close to Portland with easy access to all of mid-coast Maine. Layout of house was nice providing private units on both sides of house. One bath/shower on 2nd floor was a little tricky to use. All in all, very enjoyable!"

"House is very spacious and very close walk to the beach (about 2 minutes). The shower in the 2nd floor bathroom only had cold water other than that no complaints. Plenty of towels and beach chairs and a cool roof deck. I would def stay here again and we had 15 people stay here comfortably. About a 10-15 minute walk to downtown/amusement area."

"Great little condo. Right on the beach! Balcony is wonderful, as is the view from the master. Second bedroom is definitely a “kids” room with the two bunk beds. Garage was great for a car, would not fit the height of a truck"

"The second time I have rented this property. Not as clean this time but fully equipped. The whole outside including chairs could use a good power wash. A bat was found in a corner of downstairs bedroom. CO2 monitor went off 3 times once at 5:30AM. I assume after calling the number it was serviced as it never went off again although no follow up call or note was left that it had been serviced?"
