"It was in a unique part of Oxford, convenient to walk to many of the things we wanted to see and do, clean, friendly, comfortable, wonderful hot breakfast included. We really enjoyed our stay and it was a perfect kick off for our long awaited UK holiday"
"Suggested improvements would be upgrading the sockets to USB ones & adding a mirror in the bedroom.
Staff were helpful & friendly provided a relaxed welcoming service. We thought it great value for the price paid.
We were impressed with the size of the room and how quiet it was so we had great sleep. Shower pressure was amazing.
Would definitely stay again."

"Our first room wasn’t great, safe not working, lamp not working and shade torn, pillows were more like cushions, curtains torn and very creased! Desperately in need of a revamp. We were moved to a different room on our 2nd day which was an improvement but still in need of a revamp. Rooms are tired. For the price we paid we expected it to be 4 star but it’s more like 3 star. No Tissues or facecloths - Little things but necessary and what you’d expect from a 4 star hotel. No fridge in room either, again what you expect to be the norm when paying £150 per night.
The great thing about it is that dogs can stay £30 per dog per stay) and are welcome in 2 restaurants, it was great to be able to take them with us at breakfast. All bedrooms that allow dogs are on ground floor which is great.
The first night we had ate in the restaurant, we both ordered the chicken burger and chips, chips were cold and seemed to have been reheated several times,
we returned them, they were replaced with more of the same. I think they were frozen chips but they were inedible. We didn’t eat there again! On the plus side breakfast was good.
Overall the hotel is in a great spot, dogs allowed is the big draw for us and the parking, but rooms are really disappointing. I did hear some have been revamped but really the ones that haven’t shouldn’t be used or used at a discounted rate and guests told in advance.

"This hotel location is perfect, although no lobby and restaurant. The staffs there are very friendly, feel like home, which is good compensation point against old facilities. "
