"Overall, it was a decent stay. We originally booked a non-smoking room in the Coastal Tower, but the first room we were given very clearly smelled like smoke and even had an ashtray in it. When we went back to the front desk, the employee insisted it was a non-smoking room, but it absolutely smelled like cigarettes. Thankfully, we were moved to a room in the Bay Tower, and that made a big difference. The room was really nice. It had a large jacuzzi tub, a big walk-in shower, and a better view. It felt more updated and comfortable. One thing to note: we stayed for two nights and no one came to clean the room or refresh towels during our stay. We didn’t have a “Do Not Disturb” sign up, so I’m not sure if that’s just standard now or if it was overlooked. The pool area was nice overall. The hot tub was spacious, the pool was clean, and there were activities like cornhole, and volleyball. However, you’re not allowed to bring in outside food or drinks, so you’re stuck paying their prices. There are cabanas you can reserve (which I’m sure are very expensive), but we didn’t look into those. Food and drinks across the property are expensive. 10 wings, a meatball parm and bottle of water at Buddy's was about $50... can soda in the vending machine was $4"

"Room was dirty and not fully stocked with items such as towels, coffee and toilet paper. The staff don't care about anything and act as if you're bothering them. Hotel was extremely outdated and the elevators were a joke. Service in general such as check-in was also tediously slow."

"Spa was great… relaxing…. Pool was nice and warm although the weather was cold…. Restaurants was good ….service way good… no complaints "

"I felt a little irritated! out of six elevators only three of them were working and one of the three was partially working, You had to wait in a long line to get on the elevator. Not many food choices, Called housekeeping for toilet paper no one ever showed up, I had to go to another floor to get ice. The lighting in the hallways was too dim and dreary,kind of spooky, This was my first time staying at the show boat and I will not be going back."
