Strawberry Beds Holidays

Fantastic stay, great staff, clean comfortable hotel, great location. Lovely breakfast. Will be back for certain

This was the best stay we could've asked for!

Too

Pictures provided after booking and what we got was completely different. We were stuck in the dark, dank "stables" on the property, half underground. Black mold in the bathroom climbing up the wall. Toilet seat is yellowed and disgusting. Bed had a rod down the center and a futon type mattress about 2" thick. Woke with neck, back, and hip pain and had to sleep on the couch the rest of our stay. Walls are marked and need to either be cleaned or painted. Closet completely taken up by extra bedding (duvet, pillow, sheets) and a vacuum cleaner that smelled of dog hair and old dust. Barely room to hang anything even if we wanted to. It stunk! Parking situation is a joke. Device to control thermostat missing, so we either sweated or froze. Toilet ran constantly. Only way to get it to flush: my husband had to reach in the tank to adjust the valve so it would refill after each flush. No laundry pods provided. You have to bring your own. Bring your own coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, etc. We called housekeeping/management twice. Zero response. Worst place ever. I want a refund! Will never use Hotels.com again. And don't get me started on the two hour frustration of trying to obtain the keys to this place! That should have been our first clue!!
