Great Lodge for Multigenerational Trip

We enjoyed the large space for my family of six plus my parents and brother. We walked the trails on the property and roasted marshmellows on the firepit. This was a great spot to stay for pur first Door County vacation.

This is a great place to stay in Door County! It's nice and remote but easy access to about everything on the peninsula. The place is absolutely gorgeous with a big kitchen and plenty of room for people to spread out and do their own thing. We only had us and another couple stay and even with that big a space it felt comfortable and welcoming. Our only wish is that we would have stayed longer. There is so much to do in Door County that we feel like we didn't get enough time to explore the property and just hang out.

Great for our kids with their aunts and uncles!

We stayed with our three young children and did the master bedroom so our noise wouldn't wake the others and it worked out well! The area is beautiful and everything was very clear about the check-in and checkout process. Would definitely recommend this place for a visit to beautiful Door County!

The experience that I had with the host was absolutely incredible. His concern is that you have the best experience at his beautiful property. We were so blessed to have family gather and enjoy the time we spent with each other. Our time was definitely enhanced by this all around beautiful, clean, well-supplied, and the hosts hospitality. We definitely enjoyed our stay at the property. It was quiet, perfectly clean and very comfortable. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well appointed. The wooded lot was lovely and we made good use of the front porch for morning coffee! We had one issue with the locking mechanism on the front door, but the Manager responded and arrived to solve the problem within minutes!, which is why I did not ding them for this on the overall rating. Would recommend!

Perfect Getaway

Great house! Plenty of great spaces to eat, cook, relax and enjoy outdoor time. Remote and quiet, but easy access to all of the Door County attractions and restaurants. The house was perfectly stocked with everything you would look for and a spot for an outdoor fire with the wood ready to go. Would recommend!

It worked for our family, but would have been better suited for a party than a vacation.The deck was filthy, the patio doors wouldn't close due to a broken hinge, lights on the porch didn't work, toilet seats were broken, bedding was threadbare, and the mattresses were old.

Beautiful Big House

Even though heavily wooded- not many mosquitoes! Tons of hummingbirds, and woodpeckers. Landscaping is beautiful. Perfect fire pit. Kitchen is well stocked with anything you need to cook. It was a great visit.

This is a great place to stay. We loved the quiet and the quality of the cabin. Whoever built this cabin put a lot of money into it. There were no short cuts. We had no problems with anything. Nick and Nicole are doing a good job. Looking forward to next year.

Peaceful Family Getaway

Timer Lodge is a beautiful, quiet, clean place. Plenty of room inside and out. The kitchen was well stocked which made cooking meals at the lodge easy. There was a great assortment of family movies and indoor games which kept our kids (11, 7, and 4) busy inside. The trail at the property, the sand around the fire pit, and the hammock kept our kids busy outside. This was the perfect place to start and end our day on our family vacation to door county. Convenient location (about 15 minutes from Sturgeon Bay, Egg Harbor, Fish Creek) which made it easy to explore the peninsula without ever having to drive too far. On top of all of this, the owners were very responsive and great to work with. Highly suggest Timber Lodge for your Door County trip!

Beautiful Home in the Woods

Our 3 generation family had a wonderful vacation, and while we were busy every day enjoying all that Door County has to offer, it was so nice to come home every evening to this beautiful home. The kids loved the trails in the woods and the large yard to play in. We had everything we needed and definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in an area full of family activities and fun! We would love to be able to return in the winter.

Beautiful retreat

We had a great experience with our stay here. The owner was very responsive and checked in with us when a strong storm popped up. The house was fantastic. Clean and comfortable and really nicely decorated. We had three generations stay here, a total of 7 people and it worked very well. The only two points to be aware of when booking is the open loft areas upstairs - there are curtains, but sound does travel from downstairs (this was clearly laid out in the listing, so not a surprise). Second, we did spend more time than we would have liked driving. The house is closer to the southern end of where all the towns are. It is beautiful countryside, though, so the drives were enjoyable and lots of little places to stop along the way. We went kayaking, hiking, minigolfing, made art, went to an outdoor theater and ate lots. A great trip and a beautiful property!
