"This place is awesome. On the cliffs above that amazing stretch of beach. It feels like you're in another country quite frankly...especially when it's 30c+ outside.
It's expensive, but very, very well run and whilst it's not quite MIAMI...which is the vibe they seem to be aspiring to...it is nonetheless very cool, especially around the restaurants/pool area, and it is about as far removed from an English seaside hotel as you can get. It's also a lot closer than Miami if you want a heatwave weekend away!
2 niggles:
- parking is tight. They managed to squeeze us in but they acknowledge that their car park too small for the number of rooms...but I feel that they do what they can and help where they can.
- Away from the Beach Bournemouth is really struggling...so yes, go for this hotel, the beach, Sandbanks and the coastline but understand that if you turn left and go 500ft in to town you'll be sorely disappointed. I kind of hope that places like NICI will inspire more places like it and lead to some desperately needed urban renewal... because NICI is a pretty classy joint."
