We wish we could move here

Don and Colleen have a beautiful lake lot and we are lucky they share it! They allowed us to sip coffee, float, fish, kayak/row from their dock on beautiful Lake Saunders. Boat traffic was light and nights were quiet. Our trip reminded us of summer lake trips to Northern Wisconsin.

Nice place

This place is over the garage of an attached house and has stairs. The owner respected our privacy and let us enjoyed their beautiful yard and dock as if they were not there. They always asked if we needed anything. Very quiet retreat and Mt Dora nearby has alot of shops, resturants and tour boats to enjoy. Just wish the fish were biting more.

We loved staying here! The owners live on the property, but they were super nice and helpful. The yard, dock area and lake were perfect for my 5-year-old daughter to play. We would definitely stay here again!!

A really relaxing place to stay and experience. Highly recommend. The owners are very accommodating and willing to make your stay perfect. We had a very nice time. The morning sunrise and evening sunsets on the dock was wonderful.

Perfect getaway!

This is now our favorite spot in Florida. The lakeside relaxation and the wonderful, attentive owners made this an exceptional experience! This is a beautiful, well maintained property, outfitted with kayaks, summer kitchen and dock areas for enjoying time with family!

Great place. Don went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed from basic necessities to preparing the boat with everything I needed to catch a few fish. Will definitely stay there again if we come back in town.

What a view.

My friend and I stayed at Colleen and Don's cozy, comfortable lakefront home. They were gracious hosts and made us feel very welcomed. We enjoyed the large dock area, grill, and views of the lake and their beautiful yard. Hope to visit again in the Spring.

Cute house and amazing location

It was just me and my friend staying in this house in Mount Dora. This house was perfect location to the downtown area and all the little boutiques, shops and restaurants. Easy drive to other surrounding areas as well. The house was very clean and we had excellent communication with the owners! I would highly recommend this house!

Upon arrival we were met by the owner Don who gave us a tour of the unit and the property. Cozy interior with comfortable beds. The dock and seating/grilling area on the lake were great for watching the sunset and wildlife. Location was perfect. Just 3 miles to Mount Dora. Will definitely stay here on our next visit. Wonderful!

We really enjoyed the stay at this lake retreat. The cottage is comfortable, clean and well equipped. Don and Colleen are very personable and accommodating. I would definitely stay again. P.S. LOVE the antique twin sleigh beds! So comfortable!
