"For context, holiday parks aren't my thing as a rule. That said, I'd revisit this chalet if I was coming back to the area, no issues. It's a good spot to visit this part of the coast and if you do want to use the holiday park facilities you couldn't be better placed, a very short walk from the pools, the shop and the bar/restaurant. The chalet has everything you need for your stay and is well looked after and comfy."

"We had a great weeks stay at the Thistledown lodge. The property was very clean and perfect for our arrival. The instructions/directions were clear and made for easy arrival. The lodge was perfect for us and our dog. The lodge had everything we required for a great stay. The hot tub was perfect as well, while the dog enjoyed her time in the garden (which was fully secure for her to roam about freely) The lodges location was a short walk to two great local pubs, which both served great food....

"The hot tub, the biggest attraction for us, could’ve been a few degrees warmer as it was raining and very cold outside but the place was spacious, pleasant and we had a lovely 2 night stay which was the perfect amount."

"The Golden Bay holiday park is in a wonderful location, close to the sea and the town centre, and its very quiet, hard to beat anywhere else in Westward Ho! Early vibes had been poor. At 7pm before the day of our arrival I had to remind our “premier?” Host for some arrival instructions, which we received shortly afterwards with an apology and an instruction to bring towels (bath, beach, hand and tea), loo rolls, kitchen rolls, washing up liquid, hand soap and bin liners! "Just nice nothing special ,nothing awful . We’re not given the single story chalet style property but a two bedroomed house . It clearly had not been used as it took the first day to warm up .had to wear coats. On discussion with reception they were adamant that this was what VRBO had booked us ?Pool , shop and leisure facilities very nice.,but read the small print as not free."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely lodge albeit a bit tired in places. Peaceful, quiet and comfortable. Hot tub was lovely, warm and smelled clean. Staff very friendly and professional. Only drawback is it's 5 miles from nearest shop so if you forget anything you have a treck to get whatever. Gorgeous meal in restaurant. Would return"

"We had a lovely stay at Felicity's chalet. We had one problem but she dealt with that very quickly & kept in touch throughout. The chalet was lovely, it had everything we needed & an amazing view. We would definately stay again."

"Jasmine Cove proved to be the perfect home for us for 4 nights. We had not intended to use the facilities on site, but we had appalling weather, so the pool, slot machines and bar provided some welcome entertainment in the rain. The accommodation was clean and as described. Cream teas and drinks left for us by the owner were a wonderful touch, as were the capsules for the coffee machine! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would thorough recommend. Do visit Le Petit Monde in Bideford if you want...
