"From check in until departure our time here was wonderful. Their garden was an oasis in the middle of the Rome heatwave, and all the staff were wonderful with our daughter. Close enough to walk and explore but felt peaceful and calm. Would love to return!"

"We had a wonderful stay! Very friendly staff. Alfredo was great and accomidating to our requests. The neighborhood and surrounding areas were quite safe and non conjested. We ate at some nice restaurants nearby. The Mecado Testaccio was just around the corner. There's something there for everyone! Thank you for the great experience! We highly recommend your hotel!!"

"Extremely clean and well-maintained property. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and quiet; also, as a foreigner, the air conditioning was greatly appreciated. The host Gloria is an absolute delight and will make you feel right at home; it is very obvious that she takes great pride in her property and in providing a fantastic experience for guests. Located in a safe, walkable neighborhood that is perfect walking distance from the tourist attractions (20 minute walk to Colosseum, ~1 hour walk to Vatican City), but with the added benefit of returning to a charming and quiet neighborhood at the end of the day. I have absolutely no complaints about my stay here, and I highly recommend Villa Poerio to anyone visting Rome! When I return, this is where I will choose to stay."

"This hotel was recommended to us by a relative who travels globally, and we were very pleased with our stay. The approach via taxi from the train station was a little intimidating from all the graffitti everywhere, but we quickly realized that this is the norm in Rome. Front desk staff were amazing, the rooms are clean and tidy, coffee in the lobby is a joy and reasonably priced, and the rooftop bar is quite nice. The loaction was the best surprise, and moving foward, we would always stay here and in the Trastavere area. So many fantastic streets, shops and places to dine all day long. Don't think we took the same route to and from the main attractions twice over a three day stay. Definitely recommend staying here. We are two happy Canadians!"

"This place is a true gem in the outskirts of Rome and in my opinion 10 stars! The AC was amazing especially for an EU hotel. It was equivalent to USA air conditioning and I highly recommend if traveling to Italy in the summer. The Roof Top restaurant was delicious and the ambiance was pleasant. The staff was awesome, very accommodating, and offered numerous options from a "locals" perspective. If you are looking for the local flare away from the tourists and the prices, yet still want to see Rome and all the highlights, this place and location was perfect!"
