The Old Orleton Inn

The Old Orleton Inn

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in a superior room which had exposed beams and a view over the fields. The bed was very comfortable. The fridge in the room was a most welcome amenity. The breakfast hamper was plentiful and provided an enjoyable breakfast. Car park was useful. We sadly missed dining hours on a Sunday. Would stay here again."

Crescent House Apartments

Crescent House Apartments

8/10 Good
"Having had to prompt the Property Manager for an entry code before we left home. We received this quickly along with some direction information, which was not quite accurate, We found that the car park and entrances were in Crescent Road and not on the junction with Kings Road. However, the car park was easily accessed and spacious. The found the external stairway access to our particular apartment requires some repairs, but serviceable. Access to the apartment was easy using the key code, but te door had a tendency to stick and difficult to open sometimes. The rooms were well maintained and clean and above all roomy. Given that the main room was kitchen/dining and lounge, nothing felt cramped. The only issues in the kitchen were: No decent sized pan for cooking pasts. The oven/hob were not particularly good, no happy heat medium. Either warm or to hot. The washing machine has the bizarest set of programs we have ever come across. No instructions were available. After trial and error. gave up on that after a few attempts. The Bedroom and Bathroom were roomy and comfortable. So no complaints with these. Only other problem we had was traffic noise from the busy Kings Road. As it was very hot weather we had to have all the windows open all of the time. This might not be a problem when the windows are closed, but as no other form of ventilation was available, Seems I have run out of characters to comple!"

VIaduct Guest House

VIaduct Guest House

10/10 Excellent
"The guest house was impeccable, with excellent communication and information regarding its location and local attractions provided even before our arrival. Truly exceptional service. Upon our arrival, everything was beautiful. The entire house was spotless and exceeded all expectations. We enjoyed a lovely country walk into Ironbridge, and convenient parking was available at the property. Our room was immaculate, offering tea and coffee, toiletries, fluffy towels and a selection of pillows with varying firmness, indicating that every detail had been carefully considered. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, accompanied by lovely coffee. So much choice. We would certainly return to this idyllic location. Kay and Paul who own the guest house are super helpful and have extensive knowledge of the area. We extend our sincere gratitude to Kay and Paul for their wonderful hospitality. We will wholeheartedly recommend your guest house. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

1 bedroom accommodation in Bridgnorth and Ironbridge

10/10 Excellent
"Rob was very welcoming and helpful. The location is rural but there are amenities not too far away. The accommodation is lovely well appointed and modern, it’s very peaceful and quiet. There are lots of places in Shropshire nearby to visit, we did Ludlow, Shrewsbury and ironbridge the swan at ironbridge did a lovely Sunday lunch. Shrewsbury was maybe a bit commercialised these days and we’d maybe go to church stretton or Bridgnorth next visit instead. All told it’s a lovely accommodation and well placed for exploring the area. We’d certainly consider a revisit!"
