Located in a pretty valley with rock formations and a wooded gorge. Ideal for the Irish ferry between Fishguard and Rosslare in Ireland. I had a comfortable, clean, well-appointed room. "Room was not clean enough in parts, only enough towels for 1 person and should have been 2, also bath mat missing, mold in corner of shower tray, around extractor fan was dirty also. The beds were comfortable and clean. During our sleep we were constantly being awakened by a external fan relatively close to our bedroom widow and due to the extraordinary hot weather we had to keep our window open but the noise was too much to sleep continously sound, after chatting with the owners in the morning...

"A beautiful sea view room with a beautiful bathroom all very newly refurbished. We found the fridge very useful too, as we brought our own milk but the supply of tea and coffee a bit mean 2 teabags per day the same with coffee. The lift needs replacing, we found it very rickety. Breakfast was a bit disappointing for the money we were charged."

"Room was lovely and clean everything there you need as in shampoo,conditioner,hairdryer you can request an iron too Parking in Tenby is not great generally so we choose to take the train from Cardiff A great bonus would be a mini fridge in the room to keep drinks cool The one problem we had was the noise of the doors banging up until roughly 11pm I can only guess it was from people who were dining there using the toilets which were situated upstairs I’m not a picky person but it was quite loud and a tad annoying maybe some slow closing hinges would help Other than that it was lovely and will definitely be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"The instructions on how to enter the property and find our room were clear and easy to follow. The hotel inside and out, was tidy and presentable. Paths had been swept and the downstairs lobby and lounge area were welcoming. Lights had been left on, even though it was only early evening. Our room was spotless. No dust, no bits on the carpet and the bathroom had been properly cleaned. The bed linen and towels were white and very clean. No frayed edges on the towels or shabby looking materials. There was also a good selection of nice toiletries. Yes, the hotel is in need of updating, however, the owners are clearly doing their best. I would like to congratulate them on what they have achieved and wish them every success. They are clearly working hard with the resources they have and deserve to succeed. The breakfast area was immaculate. The couple of plates we'd seen the previous night had been removed. There was a good selection of cereals, yogurts, fruit juice, pastries, bread and fresh fruit. Everything had been thought about and carefully prepared. It did feel lonely with there being no staff present at all during our visit. It would have been nice to have had a friendly face to welcome us as we arrived and at breakfast. For a cooked meal, the Dial Inn is within walking distance. Great, tasty food and lovely atmosphere. Advisable to book, if you want food, as it gets very busy."

"Fantastic setting. Beautiful building and comfy beds. Did not enjoy the curry but breakfasts were great. Loo handle in room 14 fell off a few times and cistern was slow to fill. Shower was fab and the big fluffy towels were super. Very helpful and friendly staff."
