Hotel Riu Palace Pacifico - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"Pros… The hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained. 98% of the staff are awesome and very friendly. The swimming pools are excellent and have lots of chairs with plenty of shade. We tried all the restaurants except the steak house and they were all fabulous with awesome service and food. Cons… Didn’t try the steak house as you need to make a reservation on the app which is terrible.. If you take a taxi from the hotel do not agree to have the same taxi pick you up for the return fare as they charge you an astronomical amount for the waiting time which no one explains to you.. Take an Uber. If you visit the other Riu hotels only go at lunchtime if you want to eat this also isn’t explained to you. They definitely need a designated smoking area as the beach is full of cigarette butts and is dirty. There’s lots of chairs on the beach but no umbrellas you have to rent them. Be careful going in the ocean as there’s a drop off and the current and waves can be very strong. Last but not least please make sure you lock everything in the safe. My husband’s watch strap broke he left it on the side table and it disappeared.. It was our first and last time at this hotel.."

"I really enjoyed Barcelo. I took my girlfriend there to celebrate her birthday for 5 days. Staff were friendly lots to do and see. Entertainment team was really good. The shows were really fun every night. Will definitely be coming back to Barcelo. Highly recommend even to families looking for a great place."

"I absolutely loved my stay here! Everything was amazing from beginning to end. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained, and the entire atmosphere made our vacation so enjoyable and relaxing. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The food and drinks were great, the property was beautiful, and we really enjoyed spending time by the pool and taking in the views. Everything felt comfortable and well taken care of, and we had such a great experience throughout our entire stay. Puerto Vallarta was already such a beautiful place to visit, but staying here made the trip even more special. I honestly have nothing negative to say about our experience. We had an amazing time and made so many great memories. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again!"
