After 1 night I had questions and there was no one to talk to and the next day after checkout when we wanted to exit the gate and the automatic control was not working it had to be manually controlled and there was no one for that. "We spent a night at the Glencoe Inn so that we could explore Glencoe. It is extremely convenient as a location for that. Little pricey as an exclusive option in that area, but the room was spacious and well kept. Cute restaurants attached. Petrol station and convenience store next door. It’s right on the highway but not too much noise. Staff was very friendly. Overall great stay and we would choose them again if exploring Glencoe. "

"It was what we were expecting which was good. It was simple and clean/tidy. Decor was dated but we did expect this being rated a 3 star anyway. Nice extra of 2 dogs bowls and mat in the room ready for our small dog. Just a shame that dogs aren't allowed in the main hotel to have breakfast so we chose to not have breakfast there, otherwise we would have. "

"My Glencoe trip was a bucket-list item and it proved to be wonderful. Kentra cottage is lovely - spotless, all mod cons, comfortable, spacious, very well equipped. Many thanks to Kirsty the owner. Glencoe village is quaint and of course perfectly placed for the spectacular surroundings. There are easy walks in woods and by the loch side to very difficult ones like Buachaille Etive Mor (for an older person like me!) which I did (just) - worth the effort though. All in all, a superb trip."

Perfect location, dog friendly and very clean
"We had a fabulous stay at the Garrison. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was a little further up the road than the main hotel. It was very comfortable and a “home from home”. The apartment was very clean and dog friendly. They gave us a welcome pack with Tunnocks tea cakes, coffee pods and milk which was a lovely touch! The location was perfect in the centre of Fort William. Highly recommend! Thank you for a wonderful stay. "
