Uniquely looking boutique hotel, very charming and funky. Helpful staff. This is an antique building and the expectations should be as such. Everything is working but shall not expect similar accommodations that people are used to with the modern hotels. Location is excellent right in the center of everything!!

Delightful Ordonez Sandoval
A beautiful house, the quirky rooms are set around an Andalusian courtyard and are individually decorated with antique pieces. Breakfast was exceptional and includes fresh orange juice, a real treat. Thank-you Pepe for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful jotel
Such a beautiful hotel - our host Pepe told us that his family have owned the building since it was first built! We stayed in a twin room which was huge, comfortable and filled with beautiful antiques. Location was very central and we had a lovely, very generous breakfast the next morning.

A beautiful property with xharacterful rooms and Pepe is the most obliging host. Ubeda really is a, jewel of Andalucia and worth a visit.

Perfect place to visit this beautiful city
We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at the Ordóñez Sandoval. Pepe is the perfect host, and we felt honoured to stay at his gorgeously characterful family home. A plentiful breakfast, a quirky and comfortable room, and the ideal location from which to explore this delightful city - we’ll definitely be back.

One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at.
This was one of the most beautiful, comfortable, and hospitable stays we have had anywhere in the world. The small hotel is in a home that has been in the host’s family for three centuries, and his love for the building and the area is palpable. The rooms are large, with elegant but unpretentious charm, and incorporate modern touches like air conditioning and plentiful hot water. We were warmly welcomed, and treated as honored guests. We would return in a heartbeat, and have already recommended the facility to other travelers.

Fabulous, historic house in heart of Ubeda
House dates from 1750 and the accommodation and setting is lovely. Wonderful host who shared the story of his family’s history. Great continental buffet breakfast provided.

A very special hotel in historic Úbeda
This hotel was just amazing. It was full of character. It can be best described as a magnificent large house in the old part of town . It did not feel like a hotel , it was more like being a guest in the home of the owner. The service was excellent - very personal and attentive. The hotel is in a very quiet location within very easy walking distance of the historic buildings and good local restaurants. A basic but tasty continental breakfast was served in a large dining room on the first floor . A very nice additional touch was the free beer and soft drinks provided in the minibar fridge Parking in the public car park located in the square nearby was convenient and the hotel has secured a discounted rate of Euros12 for a 24 hour stay.

Hotel of character
This is a hotel of real character so if you prefer bland chains then it's not for you. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom well stocked with toiletries (and a hairdryer) and the air conditioning worked. Breakfast was taken upstairs with a good variety of choice. The hotel was a short walk from bars and restaurants and we parked our car round the corner in a free car park.

Casa señorial decorada con mobiliario de la epoca. Trato discreto y exquisito del anfitrión. Las habitaciones calentitas y acogedoras. Techos altos, mobiliario de época. Baño muy amplio y limpio. Desayuno muy completo y variado. Alojarse alli es una experiencia singular. Repetiría .

Sitio ideal para la visita de Úbeda, dentro de su casco histórico, y en uno de sus palacios o casas señoriales. Con todo su sabor, totalmente original, mantenida perfectamente por la familia.

House with personality
Interesting old house. You can feel the history of the house in the furniture and in the walls. Nice location, close to the Andalucia square. Personal decoration of the room, no mass tourism.

Quarto silencioso e espaçoso, mas com excesso de mobiliário e coisas como almofadas ocupando espaço. Decoração antiga e pesada torna o ambiente escuro. Boa localização e bom café da manhã servido pelo próprio anfitrião. Estacionamento próximo ao hotel, mas pago (16 euros).

Ubicación ideal pero que precisa una renovación
La sensación que me ha quedado con este hotel es agridulce. Por una parte los aspectos positivos serían la buena atención del propietario, el impresionante palacete que alberga el hotel, un desayuno completo y variado con un zumo de naranja casero recién exprimido riquísimo y una ubicación perfecta para visitar Ubeda. En el lado negativo me quedaría con la habitación en la que nos alojamos que estaba situada en la planta baja, ya que una cosa es querer transmitir la sensación de autenticidad y antiguedad acorde con la casa y otra es que la habitación se vea demasiado vieja, con alfombras y ropa de cama que han tenido tiempo mejores, con un suelo que transmite sensación de sucio y viejo a pesar de que seguramente esté impoluto e incluso una bañera con desconchones que aún cuenta con unas obsoletas cortinas de baño. En mi opinión tienen que darle un lavado de cara a esta habitación, ya que transforma lo que podría ser una estancia en un hotel con encanto en una estancia no del todo agradable.

El hotel es toda una sorpresa. Propiedad original, antigua pero bien cuidado, con recuerdos que te trasladan a otra época. Habitaciones muy amplias y limpias. Personal muy amable con buen desayuno. La única pega es que no hay parking cerca aunque es posible aparcar justo enfrente un momento para dejar las maletas y luego salir (cuidado si tienes un coche muy grande porque las calles son muy estrechas). Aparte de este detalle, muy buena relación calidad/precio

J'adore ce genre d'endroit. Le propriétaire partage sa maison de maître avec ses hôtes (3 chambres) dans une ambiance authentique et soignée. Les meubles et la décoration sont d'époque. L'impression d'être quelqu'un d'autre pendant quelques temps...
