"Fantastic location next to the water palace. Breakfast: A nice 3 course daily breakfast was served in the Lotus Cafe, which has views of the water palace. Different style set menu options available including Indonesian, English, American, and vegan. Water Palace: Guests at the hotel receive complementary access to the water palace and can see the evening show (7:30pm) from the restaurant. However, you will get a better view if you attend the show. Massage: We received complementary 30min massage and extended to 1hr which was totally worth it. Activities: The hotel also has a range of complementary daily activities for guests, from morning yoga to afternoon calligraphy and mini Balinese language class. We also did the incense making which was complementary for longer stays, the experience was lovely. The instructor and assistant, were both very friendly and patient. Truly tranquil experience. Room: Our room was one of the royal rooms, which had a separate shower to the big bathtub. Shower was enclosed, covered outdoors which was a novelty. The bathroom wasn't fully soundproof from next doors' bathroom but that didn't bother us. Door was a little creaky, however it adds character. Room had good air conditioning and space. Filtered bottled water for making tea/coffee and brushing teeth were provided daily. Staff: Very friendly, smiley and helpful. Lovely service Highly recommend staying here"

Royal Kamuela Villas & Suites at Monkey Forest, Ubud - For Adults Only

"The property was beautiful, we stayed in private suites with pools. Beautiful rooms, well appointed and clean. Warning- if you fill your bathtub it will take at least an hour to fill! The staff were amazing and very helpful. The restaurant had great food and again the staff went above and beyond for my husbands special diabetic diet and for providing my daughter a tummy friendly meal or two when she wasnt feeling well. The only downside was there were a lot of stairs to take for someone mobility impaired before you could take a golf cart to the restaurant. Staff were always available if my husband needed a ride to the restaurant. If not mobility impaired it is only a 5 minute pelasant walk to the restaurant. It was a lovely property to stay at, the monkeys did visit us- so that was nice to see. Lots of shopping around and the monkey park was a short 10 minute walk."

"I stayed at Adiwana Bisma with my mum this trip and it was truly incredible! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and treated like absolute royalty. The room was amazing, clean, quiet and spacious. It was serviced every day morning and in the evening for turn down. The rooftop infinity pool had a gorgeous view of the jungle and the rice fields next door were beautiful to wake up to and look out on. Breakfast at the resort restaurant was included too, with a wide variety of cuisines - we especially enjoyed the local options. We also enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea provided - it was wonderful to try some new little balinese canapes and a tea or coffee every afternoon. The hotel is well located on a nice, relatively quiet street. Walking distance to all the key attractions close by like the Monkey Forest, Ubud Palace, Markets, Campuhan Ridge, heaps of incredible restaurants etc. All the hotel staff were friendly and kind and thoughtful. From housekeeping, to bar to restuarant to guest services, we just felt so well looked after the whole time!"

"Nice small boutique hotel located close to everything we wanted to explore in Ubud. The staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was good; however, if we go back we will probably venture out for breakfast as there are many options close by. The hotel is on one of the side roads and tucked back off the road; therefore, it was very quiet and relaxing. Excellent pool for cooling down and relaxing around. If we go back to Ubud we will certainly look at staying at this property again."

"A great hotel located right in the heart of Ubud, within walking distance to local amenities. The hotel was well-maintained with great staff who were professional and polite at all times. There were plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, and I would highly recommend this hotel if you are heading to Ubud."
