"My room overlooked a wall which kind of accounts for my overall ‘good’ review. It was fine. A little bit of a tight squeeze with my case given bed took up most of the room. Shower was good though, bed was super comfortable and location was great in terms of walking distance to restaurants and the best of FiDi"

"We loved our stay!! It was the perfect distance to all the different stores and sites!! The people were amazing!! We were in town for our honeymoon and they upgraded our room for free! Rooms were nice and clean! The only thing we were a little disappointed about was that we were unable to connect to any streaming services because they only had cable. Other than that. I have no complaints!!"

"I stayed one night in the hotel, and id probably never stay again due to the elevator being extremely slow and skipping floor levels. I was on a time crunch to get to the airport and I wanted over 10 minutes on floor 5. After minute 13 I had to walk down 5 flight of stairs with two luggage’s. Also the restaurants were either under construction or had a private event so I had to leave to get a drink and bite to eat. Just not what I expected at all"

"Nester Finn feels more like an airbnb than a hotel. It comprises several floors of a rental apartment building in a converted former office building. PROS are the size rooms you get. I booked a room with 2 queen beds and got a 2 bedroom apartment with a separate kitchen and living area -- very rare for a NYC hotel. There is a nice lounge/co-working space on 2nd floor and a rooftop. Location is good for FiDi. Walking distance to waterfront, close to Fulton subway station, which give access to east- and west-sides of Manhattan. Staff were responsive by text, but not by phone. CONS the furnishings are well below what I would expect at even a 2-star hotel -- the furniture, decoration, and lighting fixtures felt like something you'd pick up for free from Craigslist or in the clearance bin at Walmart. They did not feel comparable to the pictures on the hotel booking page, more like how'd you'd decorate a freshman dorm room. Bed and table were damaged. Lights were totally mismatched and uncomfortably bright white. Rooms were poorly cleaned -- substantial dust under the beds, used washcloth left in the bathroom from prior guest, nail clippings on the bed. All hard wood floors with no rugs or carpeting. Walls are all bare white with only a couple random cheap wall art pieces. Shower temps were tough to dial in. For a family traveling to NYC, this can be a great option. But it's very utilitarian -- not a place I view as a comfortable hotel stay and I likely wouldn't book again."

"My fiance and I were in town just for the night for a concert down at Pier 17 and from the moment we arrived the gentleman at the front desk made us feel very welcomed. We were running late because of a train delay and despite the time crunch we were under we were able to get checked in quickly without issue and it gave us a sense of calm! We loved the breakfast in the morning they had a great selection, and we took our cups of coffee with us down for a nice walk around the seaport before our generous check out time at noon. There was a different gentleman at the front desk in the morning who was just as kind and welcoming and they graciously held our bags for us for the day even after checkout while we explored the area. We had a lovely stay and would be back anytime!"

"Outstanding stay from start to finish! We were fortunate to receive a complimentary room upgrade, and the views were absolutely incredible from the corner room. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of the Financial District, with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the bathroom was equally large and beautifully maintained. The service, accommodations, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. This is easily one of the best places to stay in the area, and we would happily return. Highly recommended!"
