"It was a very pleasant stay. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. My husband dropped his knife accidently and someone literally "flew" to pick it up. Beautiful, live piano music made our dinner even more elegant. The property is beautifully preserved. Location and valet parking made it very convenient. We would not hesitate to stay again."

"I appreciate the noble venture that they’re trying to do there, but if they’re going to continue to run a hotel, then they need to be more professional. When we first got there, we weren’t able to check in for over an hour beyond our check-in time because they hadn’t heard back from the room cleaning staff. So literally there was a backup of about 40 people in the front lobby waiting to check in. You can tell the hotel used to be a really nice place, but they’re no longer able to put money back into the business, so the place is really going down. The sheets were nice and clean, and the bed itself was comfy enough. But you can tell the mattress and the box springs are pretty old. It was the only room available in downtown Louisville that weekend because it was very busy, so it did suffice."

"Need some outlets closer to any mirror area. No housekeeper came in to empty garbage or check for towels. Couldn’t believe we had to pay $25 per day for parking. Plus tax"

"This is the dirtiest place Ive ever stayed. There're stain on the bed sheets. No hot water in the shower. Floor is sticky. Terrible. I know a lot of people said it's okay because its so cheap. No, its not. I would never ever stay here ever again."
