All the staff were really lovely but the lady in reception who dealt with us was especially helpful to us. The breakfast was really nice too. "Our stay at the castle was fabulous. The staff were excellent to deal with and the facilities are stunning. The kitchen is well equipped and we were pleasantly surprised to have access to launry facilities. The room was nicely finished and very large. I highly recommend the Muncaster Castle and our only regret was not budgeting enough time to fully enjoy all that is available."

"We stayed in a family room. It was very spacious, clean and comfy. The Inn is not far from Kendal cbd (less than 10 min drive). The hotel does do dinner, it is a little pricey tho. The included breakfast was quite good (cereals and full english breakie style included in our stay). "
