Our stay at the Olde Kinderhook House couldn’t have been more perfect! The countryside setting was so beautiful and relaxing and the house was just as beautiful. Lots of windows to see the surrounding nature. The nearby lake and old structures offered great photo ops and we even came across 2 huge turtles in the front lawn! The house had large areas where our family could gather, a beautiful sunroom, and a cozy nook to read a good book. The Harvest Smokehouse and Golden Harvest Farms were just a short drive to town and had delicious bbq, apple cider donuts & scones, and apple cider brandy. A short drive to the airport, Troy, and downtown Albany made the location convenient for us. We attended our child’s graduation at RPI and the whole family came from CA. We had two 95 yo grandparents and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our host Austin was very attentive to our needs and responded to our messages very quickly. We would definitely stay here again!
