"Like this hotel. Worth to stay. Modern outlook and good parking. The family room is a bit small but it's ok for me. Free breakfast in my package. The breakfast is fine. Recommend this hotel."

"Pretty unclean, bed sheets had marks on them, walls were all marked. Mattress was hard and pillows flat. The hotel bit of the building is not secure from the rest of the building so didn't feel very safe. Hallways also smelt strongly of smoke and reception required going down a flight of stairs with my suitcase. I ended up leaving and going elsewhere."

"The house was under refurbishment and new ownership but this did not affect my stay at all. It is well placed for trams and rail links, and main roads. I was able to travel in from Chester area and around South Manchester without going into the centre of town. Lovely walks along the Bridgewater Canal and plenty of places to get a bit of shopping nearby. Very comfortable and well furnished, reasonably priced, a welcome change from hotel chains with no individual character. Would recommend."

"We arrived at approximately 9pm, slightly later than advised. Although the front door was locked, the manager (I assume) was still there, cleaning. He let us in when I telephoned and kindly carried our case up to the room. The room itself was clean, fresh, well equipped. However, the room was extremely cold on arrival. We were told that the heating would be turned on, but unfortunately the radiator remained cold throughout the entire night. As a result, the room never warmed up. Due to the lack of heating, we were extremely cold and unable to sleep so we packed up and left before 7am, having effectively been unable to make use of the accommodation. While the room itself was of good quality, the failure of the heating meant our stay fell well below a reasonable standard, and represents a disappointing service failure. This was raised with the property but they refused to acknowledge there was an issue. "

"Travelled from Dublin to check-in easily at 5 pm. Caught bus to Altringham for evening and then again in the morning to take train to London. "
