Lovely pool and location
Not suitable for under 5's as many stairways and open banisters. Well supplied linen but rooms could have been cleaner. The electrical appliances supplied were not always compatible with the sockets. Many light bulbs not working. Many window mosquito nets missing or broken. The pool was lovely and was regularly cleaned. The owner was very easy to contact and always replied very promptly.

Away from it all
Way up high with amazing views all round. Comfortable house with a spectacular pool and peaceful location. Winding road up and down but worth it !

Quatre superbes jours en famille L’accueil par Cristina était chaleureux et plein de bonne humeur La maison était très bien conçue pour une famille (5/6 chambres + 2 salles de bain), son côté rustique (cheminée et poêle à bois, murs épais) et parfaitement équipé créait une atmosphère chaleureuse, idéal pour les amoureux de la nature

Herrliche Ruhe auf dem Bergrücken des Apennin
Das Haus liegt einsam, sodass niemand gestört wird, wenn man lacht oder Musik hört. Das Grundstück ist sehr großzügig und bietet verschiedene Plätze um in Ruhe zu lesen. Wunderbar. Das Haus ist verwinkelt. Es ist mit verschiedenen Möbelstilen eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer war stilsicher mit gepflegten Antiquitäten möbliert. Die Matratzen angenehm hart. Es sind 2 Küchen vorhanden, unsere Gruppe hat nur eine, die untere Küche, benutzt. Dort gibt es wenig Arbeitsfläche, um Essen vorzubereiten. Der gemauerte Grill ( mit Holzkohle) draussen war für uns kaum zu nutzen, denn der Abstand zwischen Glut und dem Rost war so hoch, dass das Grillgut nicht gar wurde. In den Küchen ist sehr viel Besteck und Geschirr vorhanden. Der Pool war großartig : toller Blick in den Apennin und viele Sitz-und Liegemöbel. Die Möbel/Sonnenschirme am Pool und auf der Terrasse waren nicht alle intakt, die Vermieterin versprach dies zu ändern. Tipp: Stromadapter für die italienischen Steckdosen mitbringen.

Das Haus kann man sehr empfehlen. Es hat eine ruhige Lage und ist ein super Ausgangspunkt für viele Motorrad Touren um sich anschließend im Pool zu erholen.

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit an einem wunderschönen Ort verbracht - und können es nur empfehlen, wenn man auf der Suche nach einem ruhigen Urlaub in einer landschaftlich wunderbaren Umgebung mit allem, was man braucht, sucht! Unterkunft läsig, schön, praktisch, geräumig, gut aufgeteilt, Wahnsinnsaußenbereich mit Super Pool und Anlage, superschöne Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und nah zum Einkaufen. Und alles megaunkompliziert!! Gerne wieder!!

Spacious traditional house with fantastic views and pool
I can only recommend this house! We stayed there with another family (4 adults, 6 kids, 2 dogs). It’s located in a quite remote area, which was perfect for us, surrounded by a lovely landscape with great views. The next bigger town Borgo Val di Taro is only 10 mins away by car. The house is very spacious, nothing was missing. However it could have been a little cleaner. The absolute highlight was the huge pool :-) which kept our kids busy when we were enjoying a wine at the sunny Terrace. I would definitely consider to come again! Thanks Cristina and all the best for the future.

Alles war total entspannt und easy. Top Anlage, genialer Blick ins Tal. Super Pool in einmaliger Lage. Im Haus viele Treppen und sehr verwinkelt, aber dadurch auch gemütlich. Cristina war eine wundervolle Gastgeberin!

Magnificent holiday resort with a lovely view! We spent a week in this incredible house on a hill. We were 7 adults and 4 children altogether and the house was big enough to guarantee everybody their privacy if it was needed. The house had several bedrooms, two separate living rooms, two kitchens and two bathrooms. What we (especially the kids) enjoyed the most though was the big swimming pool with a breathtaking view to the hills. We also spent our evenings outside grilling and eating by the big table. The garden was also huge with its several different fruit trees (e.g. cherries and figs) and magical fireflies at night. The owner Christina was very friendly and helpful with everything. If you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful holiday location and you don't mind the distance to the nearest towns/cities, we would definitely recommend staying in this historical house. Since the house has three floors, moving around might be difficult for people with reduced mobility. Driving our van up the hill on the narrow road for the first time was also quite a thrilling experience for us! Thank you for your hospitality and your lovely resort Christina! We had an unforgettable holiday!

Very nice holiday in Castoglio
We staid at Castoglio for two weeks with 2 families (10 person). The house was big enough and very nice. The pool was perfect and was cleand every one or two days. Thanks a lot Cristina for this nice holiday! Stefan

Maison de caractère authentique. Petite déception sur l’entretien : ménage superficiel, notamment dans les cuisines, ampoules manquantes, poussière par ci par là. Intervention rapide après réclamation.

Vacances en Famille : Super !
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Cristina. Parents, enfants et grands-parents sous le même toit sans aucun problème : les grands-parents d'un côté de la maison et les enfants de l'autre côté. Nous nous sommes régalés au bord de la piscine en profitant d'une vue magnifique. L'accueil de Cristina est très cordial et sa présence à l'arrivée et au départ fut très appréciée.

E' stato per me un piacere avere ospite la famiglia Jung, persone molto rispettose e gentili sono molto lieta che abbiano trascorso una piacevole vacanza e ringrazio per le parole di apprezzamento nei miei confronti, per me e' molto importante essere presente all'arrivo dei miei ospiti per poter illustrare la casa e soddisfare ogni loro richiesta e infine salutarli alla loro partenza, con la speranza di rivederli presto.
