My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights. We loved everything about it. Extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming. Everything we had it would be. Beautiful fresh continental breakfast each morning. It was our second stay at Balcon de Competa and it certainly won't be our last. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are so welcoming and most helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast has improved from last time,now offering freshly cooked breakfast. Dave on reception speaks perfect english and was hugely helpful to us translating for us when our rented car caused problems. Friendly, helpful reception team. Hotel needs a little TLC but is gradually being updated. Excellent cold breakfast. Overall, represents great value for money.

The propery is located right by the beaach with a great pool for adults and kids. It was quiet, and offer some amenities during the day. The daily breakfast was very good, and the new chiringuito bar by the beach is great for a quick lunch or drink.

We have just returned following a lovely long weekend in Nerja. 5 ladies travelled for a girls mini break. We had 2 bedrooms in Hotel Toboso Chaparil. A double and a triple room although the double also had 3 beds. The hotel is in a excellent location. Only a short stroll to beach and main town square/area. Hotel Humaina is nestled in the middle of the mountains, far from any noise or disturbance. It allows one to disconnect from the stresses of life, and just relax.
