We loved Cubo Apartments the family staff were very helpful and kind. Breakfast each morning was delicious and a big tasty meal. Lots of homemade treats and vegetables. Our 2 bedroom apartment felt like home. Easy to travel to the major sites. A quick train ride to all the cities and Sorrento for the ferries. We’ll definitely visit again. Ciao for now! From the moment we booked with Cubo Apartments, Frederico was quick to reply any inquiries we had even regarding sight seeing spots. We had no issue finding the place (with the instructions we were provided) and he greeted us at the gate after I had messaged him. The discounted parking in the nearby underground parking lot was a plus as it saved us time. The place was very clean and spacious which is great if you are travelling with children or extended family. Washing machine was inside the apartment unit as well. They were so quick to clean the place daily (one morning even while we were eating breakfast). Frederico's entire family was so welcoming and really made it their mission to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Breakfast on site was included and it consisted of a selection of bread, eggs/omelette, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice. Big plus--it's a 5mins walk to the bus station for days you don't feel like driving. Several highly rated restaurants which are walking distance. Highly recommended!

Overall, the apartment was spacious, modern, & comfortable. Underground discounted parking across the street was very convenient, as well as the short walk to the train station. The staff was courteous and responsive. The kitchen had everything we needed. Delicious home-baked pastries were the highlight of the breakfast. But caveat emptor regarding all the confusing descriptions and photos on the major travel sites (Expedia, Travelocity, etc.). We read through all the apartment descriptions and tried to pick one that did not face the street. We saw only one apartment that was listed as having a balcony facing the street/square, so we chose a different one with a "sea view." But our one-bedroom apartment was pretty much "CITY VIEW" with 2 tiny balconies affording a side view of the bay through buildings. Our bedroom overlooked a busy street across from an open square. Both nights we stayed, there was a festival from 1900-2400 with people, music, smoke, loudspeakers, and police whistles. The last night of the festival, it ended at 2400 with firecrackers/fireworks in the square that seemed to go on forever. Later, at about 0330, they started breaking down the stage & tents--clanging metal tent posts, trucks backing-up, shouting, etc. Overall, Federico & his family did their best to be accommodating. This would have been an overwhelmingly positive review had it not been for the ambiguous descriptions and photos on the various sites leading us to a noisy stay and little sleep.

This was one of the most impressive places we stayed. High tech amenities. Federico was an amazing host. We started with a welcome cocktail, then he booked us a last minute boat excursion to Amalfi and Positano. The ocean view was spectacular The morning breakfast was amazing with the sweetest people taking care of us. This is a must stay. I highly recommend it.

The property had everything you needed and more. Nicely surprised with the Whirlpool bath which the kids enjoyed. The location is great with scenic views and also with in easy reach of popular tourist attractions and local shops. The breakfast served was amazing including freshly cooked cakes and pastries. Unique special point about the property is that it is a family run business which gives you that special unique experience and very hospitable. They have great knowledge of the area and provided us on excellent information when we needed it.

Wonderful stay at Cubo Apartments
We loved our stay at Cubo Apartments! It was in a great town where we walked everywhere. We loved the square full of restaurants, bakeries, GELATO VENDORS, etc. We drove to many nearby towns and attractions, and it was a very convenient location. The owners were wonderful and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend Cubo Apartments!

Accommodation was first class. Everything you could possibly need was in the apartment. Very comfortable bed , place was kept immaculately. Host were available at all times and very helpful but not in your face. I would recommend anyone staying there to experience their food. It was amazing. Family run place , with every detail looked after.

Modern apartments in a unique location
We really enjoyed our stay at Cubo Apartments. Our one bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor was very well equipped with a breathtaking view to the blue sea and Mount Vezuvius, from the windows and the open terrace. Stefany and her friendly family made us feel at home and she gave us very helpful advises how to tour this beautiful area. 2 minutes walk to the local train station with about 10 minutes travel to Sorrento and Pompeii made it a very good location as a base for daily tours. Tasty breakfast with the great cakes of Stefany's mother were a very nice way to start the day. This was one of the best places we experienced in Italy.

The girls that are running these apartments are extremely sweet and we were upgrade it for free. Location is perfectly located close to transportation, restaurantes and point of views are amazing. We felt at home and didn’t want to leave.

Our unit was a very nice, modern, "smart", 2-bedroom 2-bath, with living room and full kitchen apartment, with balcony. This is a family run and owned small hotel and the owners were very gracious. Alphonso, the dad, spoke English and was very friendly, accommodating, and generous. His wife, Anna, is the chef and baker, very pleasant and charming, and we enjoyed one of the best meals we had during our 2 weeks in Italy. Other family members were also very pleasant and helpful. The only downside was that parking was in a garage a block away, but in Italy, that is quite accessible. Great views of the Bay of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius We definitely will stay again in Cubo Apartments if/when we return to Vico Equense.

The apartment itself is beautifully decorated and spacious. The view over the sea is spectacular. The hotel offers breakfast in the morning, though they initially do not offer you the menu; they simply ask, "What would you like to eat?" Which is a bit strange, until you realize later that there is a menu at the reception, just not in the dining area.They had gorgeous cakes (for breakfast!) as well as eggs to order, croissants, yogurts, etc. We arrived late the first night, and the receptionist was very communicative and pleasant with us prior to our arrival. We organized who would be there to meet us and get us upstairs. However a major inconvenience was that the hotel said there was only one key available per apartment. Thus when arriving home late both nights, no one at the reception was able to open the actual door to the apartment (meaning we had to wake up our friends both nights). In fact, there is not 24 hour reception service - also creating a more complicated problem when the gates to the property were locked the second night and we did not have the key to get in. At least the first night someone from reception waited up for our arrival to let us in. A beautiful, authentic hotel in central Vico Equense. For families with small children, this may not be the the safest as the property is just steps to the busy main road (with no door/gate), which made eating breakfast in the morning a bit stressful with a toddler.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Cubo Apartments, we didn't want to leave. This is a family run hotel. Rosa, Stephanie, Anna and Alfonso made us feel like family. They were the most gracious hosts and were always available to help and answer all our questions. I can't say enough about them and their establishment. Do not hesitate to book a room/apartment here. You will be glad you did and you might not want to leave once you are there!!

Wonderful family run hotel with everything you could need or want, including a chef who makes amazing food! The rooms are good sized and the kitchen well equipped. We stayed 4 nights at the hotel. It has a great view to the Ocean with a large terrace. the facility is modern and new and comfortable with my young son. a few steps to the train station to travel to Sorrento or Pompeii.

The Cubo apartments are very close to Vico Equense station, making it ideal for travelling to other locations. The family and staff who worked there were very welcoming and friendly. The apartment was very spacious and had everything that we needed. The apartment was cleaned every day. There were many restaurants from which to choose including one in the complex. The supermarket was also just a short distance. The location also proved ideal when we had to find a hospital due to a fall. Vico Equense Hospital Emergency Department was 5 minutes walk and provided excellent care for a fractured finger.

LOVED it here!! Wish we stayed longer than 2 nights. We were welcomed with Prosecco. The hosts were amazing. There were 11 of us and we stayed up the street in a two-suite five-bedroom unit that could have slept 16 comfortably. The suites were newly-renovated, clean, and big. We had a kitchen, washer & dryer, and balcony. We had an amazing family-style, home-cooked meal (thank you, mamma) at their restaurant with amazing views of Mt. Vesuvius on one side and your typical string-lit Italian street on the other. Will definitely come back and stay longer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND: Go to Gabriella's down the street for the best gelattos - this is not an exaggeration.

The Cubo apartments was a great place to stay, with excellent rooms, great, friendly, staff and lovely food. We were upgraded to the Europa Suite, which was lovely, having fantastic views over the Bay of Naples and private sunbathing on your own terrace. My wife and I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Cubo Apts completely exceeded our expectations!
We arrived at Cubo Apartments with our group of 5 people and had the immediate good fortune of being offered an excellent upgrade, to move to the Oceania and Africa rooms, which were two rooms located on the same floor of the main apartment building. Both had incredible views and were amazingly modern in their design and equipment. I never did see what our original offsite apartment looked like, but for sure these two rooms were wonderful. Equally surprising was the family atmosphere promoted by the owner, his wife who served as the restaurant head chef, and 2 of his 4 daughters who we met and served us, and were incredibly accommodative. They took every action I could ask for to encourage us to enjoy our stay, and to want to return! One advantage to being in this Apartment was its close proximity to the train station. It is definitely walking distance, just around the corner from the station, but folks should be aware that it is up a slight incline. But Sorrento is only two stops away (10 mins on train) and Pompeii is only 5-6 stops the other direction (about 25 mins on train). Cubo is located in Vico Equense, which itself is large enough to have several excellent restaurant choices and shopping options. You feel like you're in an Italian town that is not built 100% for tourists - but when they do have tourists as customers, they genuinely want to please them. I liked that balance.

Beautiful, clean, spacious apartments, a very warm welcome and friendly service. Nearby road a little noisy at times but the location with views of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples made up for that, and the convenience of being only two minutes walk to the train station made it very easy for us to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum and Sorrento. Would definitely stay here again if we get a chance to return to the area.

We stayed in the Asia apartment for 5 nights, 9/30-10/5, and had a wonderful time! We had three people in the apartment - 2 adults and one 23 year old, and had plenty of room. Stefania, Salvatore, Michele, Alfonso and Ana were excellent and made us feel like family! We looked forward to breakfast every morning as the selection and variety of food available was plenty. We ate dinner the first night we arrived and it was fantastic - fresh clam dish, pumpkin ravioli and beef special. The apartment was spacious and up to date with a view of Napoli Bay. Upon arrival Stefania greeted us with a cold drink and some wonderful conversation. Throughout our stay the staff was always available for advice and information. We felt like family by the end of our stay and we will be returning to Cubo Apartments when we return to Italy.
