From the moment we arrived and were greeted by staff and treated to a glass of their lovely wine we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. The rooms are modern and beautiful designed and decorated. You experience the sense of calm created by the beautiful landscape and the architecture of the hotel. The staff are excellent and the service is 5-star. The restaurant creates the perfect ambiance for dining and the food is creative and beautifully prepared and presented. Would like to thank Andreia, Marta, Bruma and Sofia for making our stay a memorable one. Would also like to thank the chef and his staff for our wonderful dining experiences. "Very clean and comfortable home in a quiet, friendly village. Very nice patio for sun and relaxation. If you want a place to relax and regenerate from jet lag this is the place. We never met the host but she quickly responded to all our enquiries. Thanks for hosting us,"

"My stay here was the perfect finale to wind down from an extensive road trip of Lisbon, Nazare, Aveiro and Porto. The grounds, lobby and room exceeded my expectations. Staff was friendly and welcoming. My room, all on 1st floor, was sparkling clean with a view of olive trees. Mini fridge partially stocked with plenty of extra room. Air conditioned as well. Nespresso coffee maker available by request. On site restaurant and bar well appointed with excellent cuisine. I enjoyed a massage at the on property spa. Play area for kid's including kids swimming pool. Indoor and outdoor pool for adults. Stable of horses available to ride. Free winery tour with tastings was my favorite. Of course i purchased a case of their wine. Walking trails also. Set amongst green rolling hills. Come and enjoy."

"We stayed at the Sao Lourenco do Barrocal in November and it was the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived we were met with incredible concierge service to help plan our weekend and show us our incredible suite. We did a winemaking tour and class along with an olive oil making and class as well as Pilates and all three were great! I am blanking on the instructor names but each were incredibly knowledgeable and we felt spoiled each leg. The food in the restaurant was also incredible. The dinner was great, but the breakfast was equally as impressive. 10/10 would recccomend! "
