"All was ok until dinner ,,, it wasn’t stated about a Buffett when booked up and paid for . It was a 3 course meal !!! Still had to pay the sumplerment for a steak ! Staff was very friendly and tried to sort out this issue . "

"The room was very spacious and nice, clean nice view, had all the things that were needed, bathroom was okay, a little small but not too small, the shower water gets onto the floor and can soak the floor so be careful with that. But overall it’s great."

"When I arrived at the hotel I found what looked like a closed down building with no other cars. I then walked round the building where I found a man urinating in the car park and found another entrance. I went to reception and rang a doorbell that was on the desk as there was no one around. 3 rings and 10 minutes later a kind young man turned up and offered to help me with my bags which was the only pleasant experience I had. He informed me that the lift was broken and just to follow the signs. The doors to the floor were wide open and 3 men were stood staring by the entrance. We walked through cigarette smelling corridors, finally found the room and slightly turned the key in a flimsy yale lock that felt unsafe and as if a small child could push it open. The room STANK and was boiling hot even though the radiators were cold. I went to open the window for fresh air and was met with used condoms and cigarette ends and screws on the ledge infront of the window. My friend then got locked in the bathroom from the inside and I had to let her out. We found cloudy water coming from the tap. On further inspection the mattress and curtains had visible blood and other bodily fluid stains on them. I was scared for my safety and decided to leave after 20 minutes and did not come back. To charge £70 for that is absolutely disgusting!!"

"Very clean spacious room and bathroom. Only knocked off a star as when the room next door closed their door it shook our whole room (521) and woke us up a few times like an earthquake."

"We have visited this hotel many times before, and it has been amazing., unfortunately this time round was a different story. Communication was poor, we had booked a suite as a treat for Easter, part of this package was VIP parking, when we arrived the car park was closed, no email, no message on the Expedia chat with the hotel. We parked in the multi-story which was fine, the next day we were informed that the car park was now open, we moved the car only to be sent back by security who informed us the car park was not available, just kept getting sent back to the multi-story, the front desk had no idea. The room was fine, bit run down and shabby; robes in the room dirty with fake tan, although the espa products were a nice touch. Mini bar was another perk of the room, however we had to chase to get it replenished! Had dinner in the sky lounge, again dirty floors, a quick carpet sweeper would have fixed that but the staff were using a broom on the carpet which wasn’t doing anything. Main course arrived before the starter, but that got fixed eventually. We were overcharged on the bill and this needed correcting, it just felt that the staff did not communicate with each other! Casino bar used to be the place to go for a nice G&T however we were told, they don’t do that anymore and they don’t have a drinks menu? We left… The high line bar was a nice new edition, live music, good staff, although my wine was corked! Overall a poor experience!"
