"Our weekend away was very enjoyable from a clean bedroom which had everything thing you need. Meals from breakfast to evening meal was excellent and the staff where very helpful also plenty of parking spaces."

"Lovely hotel , ideally situated just down the road from Beamish Museum, Restaurant for evening meal was very nice , can recommend. The grounds and garden are beautiful,very well maintained. We didn’t do breakfast , we chose to do a breakfast bap in the Museum ,none of us eat much in a morning"

"Slaley is a grand hotel, outdated in parts, but don't let this put you off. Check in was quick, room spacious and clean. Nice view over looking the driveway. Bars were good and not to expensive. Breakfast was ok,food was fine, but kept running bout. lots of guests and the coffee machines kept running out aswell. Leisure facilities were good, could do with more loungers, but its finding places to put them. Overall had a good might away. Would stay again"
