"My two sons and I had a great time. The property was in an ideal location for exploring and the perfect size for the three of us. It was also very clean and the kitchen allowed us to do our own meals. The hosts were excellent communicators and had a lot of helpful tips for exploring the surrounding area. All in all a great stay."

"Lovely village of Laycock was the star of the show, for two jaded residents of the south east of England it was lovely to wake up at 7am and have a leisurely breakfast before walking into a village that was totally devoid of traffic and noise. So nice to see so many places selling goods via honesty boxes, we bought lavender and plants from the numerous vendors and we loved walking down to the village that was so quiet without cars and the usual daily hubbub.Our accommodation was really good, only lacking a coffee pod machine, a Nespresso pod machine that would have given 7 stars rather than a mere 5 (lol!).Love to Monty xx"

"We booked the property for our second night of 4, cycling Avon and Kennet Canal. We were hoping to arrive earlier than stated check in, to make use of fridge before we set off on our bikes for the day, Alex was extremely helpful and gracious in immediately responding to our request with a yes. Everything was ready, clean and fresh, everything as listed and set out in the welcome message. Hot tub was fantastic, great after our 36 mile ride on canal tow path. The cabin was peaceful and private and we were left to our own devices. I have no doubt Alex and Victoria would have been immediately on hand should we have needed them. The location was perfect for us, and information left for guests was informative should it be needed. Great stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back."
