"A lovely property in a great location, very peaceful but close to Sandsend and Whitby. We are a family of 6 adults and 3 children (3 generations) and we all enjoyed our stay. Lots of kitchenware and plenty of seating for us to eat together and relax on sofas. The local roads are very narrow and not pedestrian friendly so I’d recommend driving the short distance to the beach. 4 stars given due to the shower upstairs and in the en suite being very difficult to switch off- they need attention. Also most importantly the twin room downstairs had a pungent cat smell which luckily didn’t seem to bother my granddaughters who slept in there but it did the rest of us when it drifted into the living area. If not for this it would be 5 stars from us! "
