Great location in town. Spotlessly clean & tidy, Lovely friendly staff, Beautifully presented hot breakfast, Would prefer private parking, the parking behind the hotel is public, but loads of spaces and only €3 for 24 hours.

Great location
Great location in the heart of Westport. Nice hotel. Public parking is a minor negative. Dinner was quiet nice but the cooked part of the breakfast was not up to good standards. The grill was tired and overcooked. The scrambled eggs were liquidy. The rest of the buffet was of a good standard. Staff were friendly, helpful and informative. All in all we enjoyed our trip.

Really good location. Staff were all really friendly - especially restaurant and bar staff. The hotel had a nice atmosphere. I’d definitely book to stay there again

The front desk went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast staff were cheerful & efficient. The location was ‘center of town’.

Excellent location, quaint, cozy, impeccably clean B & B. Old Irish pubs nearby - had drinks at the Porterhouse with live Irish music and at the end of the night we were holding hands with the patrons as he (and we) sang Sweet Caroline. There’s also a big supermarket down the block - so convenient. The only negative was our room faced the busy street, and you can hear the 6am traffic. Ask for a room at the back of the hotel! Ours rooms were spacious and comfortable. Best nights sleep on the trip. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The adjoining bar/restaurant (Maddens) was great and the staff was outstanding.

An amazing experience at this hotel, friendly and helpful staff, top class breakfast and bar facilities exceptional. Really central, close to everything, spacious public carpark to rear of hotel with very reasonable overnight charges.

Everything was great, except one important issue: walls were so narrow that I would hear people talking in the hallway. I was woken up multiple times during the night because of noise in the hallway.

I would have rated the property 'EXCELLENT' had it not been for the 'European' style shower which covers only 1/2 of the shower opening and hence the floor gets washed as well as your body. The restaurant, MADDEN'S, is excellent for both breakfast and dinner. Note to other Americans: The Black and White 'Puddings' served with the large b-fast are an acquired taste.

Good two night stay in Westport.
Good family run hotel in a great location in Westport. Enjoyed breakfast and the room was clean and lovely large bathroom. Friendly efficient staff, nothing to complain about. Public parking next door to hotel a bonus at three euro for 24 hours!

Excellent hotel, highly recommend!
Wonderful hotel and even better staff. Our room was spacious and clean. I would have preferred fluffier pillows but that's just me. The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to restaurants, pubs, shops and the greenway. I believe that they have a bike store so we plan to stay there again and bring our bicycles. Reception and especially breakfast bar staff were beyond helpful. The ladies at the breakfast bar are polite, helpful and made sure that we got delicious breakfast quicklyandthat everythingwas just right from a very good selection. This hotel definitely found excellent staff to hire. We loved our stay at Clew Bay Hotel and highly recommend it.

The check in was great. We asked for a different bed configuration and they we happy to do it. The women at check in we so nice, and we asked them for tips and things to do and they did not dissapoint! Breakfast was wonderful, and our server was outstanding. We will be back! They are located where you can walk everywhere!

Ok average hotel.
Good location on the Main Street of town however it was noisy if your room was facing a street. Also, public parking lot was next to hotel and it was noisy too. It also caters to large bus tours which usually I try to avoid. Overall, it was an average hotel that was not memorable. Would not stay here again.
