Stayed on 2 seperate nights in one week. Returned for 2nd night it was so good. Felt like we were minded like family. Left a bag behind and when i returmed next evening the receptionist offered me a cup of tea. I had driven a good distance and here was a person who could read how to treat and look after a guest in an empathetic way. Each and every staff member was polite and went over and above. The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable and the tea, coffee, orange juice and biscuits were all very appreciated. I have only one little fault. I went to use the iron and never checked the face of the iron and it was all black so when I put the iron on my jacket to iron some black came off the face of the iron and blackened my jacket. I am sure it will wash out but it was a bit of a nuisance.and I could not wear it on Saturday night. It did not matter too much as Saturday...

The Hotel du Vin exceed our expectations. I had booked the Basement Room and it was beautiful. The bed was so comfortable and the room was so spacious. The toileteries were 1st class. The Continental breakfast was fab. We ate in the restaurant on one evening and the food was very good.
