"Nice venue, a little dated perhaps but it was clean spacious and warm. I cannot fault the staff they were welcoming friendly and attentive. The restaurant was only serving a bar menu which was a little basic but it was tasty hot, hot and good value for money.the venue is very reasonably priced and you get what you pay for, I would happily stay there again. Unfortunately the bar closed at 8pm, but there is a pub within walking distance if you’re willing to risk the dark country road to get to it."

"Deglected and uncared for.No hot water toilet wouldn t flush.Tiling broken .Door lock broken.Furniture in bedroom ripped and broken.Staff uninspiring.Food just O.K.Very disappointing."

"The food was good although not hot at times, the winter dinner menu was acceptable but not to our taste. The hotel was completely dog friendly, slightly dated in places but we would stay there again."

"Our first stay and we’ll definitely be back, all staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Car park easy to access, breakfast excellent with attentive staff. The bar of an evening has a very inviting atmosphere and Steve the bar manager is a fine host and keeps a super pint of Feathers Best! Accommodation and housekeeping very good. We’ll be recommending The Feathers to our friends"

We were not notified before arriving at the property, despite receiving a revised room number/check in info on the morning of our expected arrival. Communication was not great, and whilst we were provided another alternative accommodation, I have not heard back from the hotel since. "
