"Beautiful hotel and pub. Check-in was unfortunately not great, we did have to queue for 30min in the hall to be checked in due to the card machine not working. The staff was kind and apologetic about this but it was kind of annoying there was no dedicated check in area. We felt a bit in the way of other patrons trying to get a table for the dining room while standing there. The room itself was spacious and really well equipped (coffee, tea, snacks, water, good hair dryer). Beautiful bathroom & great shower pressure. Comfortable bed. It was a bit loud in the morning as the windows are quite thin and we could hear the kegs for the pub being loaded inside. But we were glad to be awake for the delicious breakfast. Honestly I would stay here again even though there were a couple hick ups along the way. The staff were helpful and the room very cosy which always makes the stay worthwhile."

"A very clean, comfortable and homely stay at sea breeze in Whitstable. Having a parking spot in a cool space was a real bonus in the hot weather. Only drawbacks were that in the heat this is a vey hot house with no fans available to use. We needed to sleep with windows open and unfortunately there was a busy, noisy car park situated directly next to the house. Other than that this was a fantastic house to stay in. Only a short walk to the sea and the town centre."

"The perfect size place for our two couples, and wonderfully located to the water and primary commercial district. Extremely comfortable beds, and the place was fully stocked with everything we could need to enjoy our time in Whitstable. The owner clearly identifies the steepness of the stairs (which they are), but at no time did they impact our enjoyment of the space. If you are looking for a good value in the location you want to be, stop looking and book your stay here!"
Ravenscourt, Whitstable

"We had a lovely stay at Ravenscourt as a group of four friends. The location is fantastic - just a short walk to the beach, with a handy cut‑through that everyone uses to get down to the seafront. The house itself is a charming Victorian terrace and beautifully furnished throughout, with a really welcoming feel. On‑street parking can be a bit tricky at times, but that’s fairly typical for Whitstable and didn’t cause us too much trouble. We didn’t use the kitchen facilities during our stay as we preferred to sit out in the garden, which was a lovely spot to relax. A couple of small things to note: we did need to sort out the cistern in the upstairs toilet ourselves, and the ensuite on the top floor could have been a little cleaner. Nothing major, but worth mentioning. Overall, a stylish, comfortable house in a brilliant location - perfect for a beach getaway with friends and or family."
