"Our stay was ok. The room we booked was in the back of the hotel on the 1st floor. It was small for two people but adequate. The room was clean and it did have a small view of the sea from the window. A couple of items to note: no lift only stairs which made getting upstairs a challenge for my partner. The floors in the bedrooms are not carepeted so you have no protection from people in the room above you dropping things or even walking around in their room. The walls are not too thick and we could hear people in the room next to ours. No curtains on the window not even a net curtain for prvacy in the daytime. Only wooden shutters which were cumbersome to open/close. In the bathroom all was good except the shower was over the tub. This is pretty standard these days but there was a glass protector you used when taking a shower so as not to get water everywhere. The shield is hinged so it swings back against the wall when you are done with a latch to hold it. Someone decided it was a good idea to place the toilet paper holder right underneath where th door latches which means all the water drains off the glass and onto the topilet paper. Not the best design. Breakfast was good though. A well stocked buffet. And there was comfortable seating in the lounge for coffee or something from the bar. On the opposite end from the town so a good walk into town. for alternative to eating. Parking a car was a challenge and coming by train means a taxi unless you plan to walk 20 minutes"

"Perfect family holiday spot. Clean house with everything a family needs. Great communication from host. We stayed for a week with our young children and had a wonderful time in Whitstable. The house is in the perfect place within a few minutes walk of the beach, harbour and great local shops. Highly recommended. "

"The home is beautiful and exactly as per the images. It's comfortable, the kitchen is fully functional with gas cooker and excellent cookware, the showers are hot and powerful, the bath relaxing, the garden and garden room lovely. There's loads of little additions like a record player that adds great atmosphere and the toys and games. The baby cot bed was comfortable and our daughter slept well. Overall very homely and we loved it, so recommend. "

"We had a lovely (2-night) stay at this house. It's beautifully presented, well-equipped, and the highlight is the kitchen-diner and huge dining table for us all to enjoy an evening of dinner, games and wine around. It's in a gorgeous little network of Victorian terraced houses in a great location for everything the town has to offer (restaurants, bars, shops, harbour, beach, you name it!). We were very grateful to be able to bring our dogs and the house worked really well for them. Lovely little back garden, although it was a bit cold for humans to use it! Appreciate the roadworks right outside the house (extremely loud, starting from 7.30am on the Saturday) were outside the owners' control, but a heads-up before arriving would have been good. Otherwise, this is a very quiet area so once the resurfacing works are done, you'll be able to sleep in as long as you like :) One ground floor bathroom (bath, no shower) plus one en-suite didn't quite feel enough for a 4-bedroom house, particularly those sleeping on the top floor, but we made it work for a short period of time. This might have put us off a longer stay. Overall, very happy to recommend this lovely house for a weekend in Whitstable!"
