"Hotel was in a great location, staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was small but it had a fantastic sea view and it was well thought out so you had everything for a short stay. The shower was fantastic and the water hot. Our room was serviced every day. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked. We really couldn’t fault the hotel and would definitely stay there again."

"Really well placed. So close to beach, shops etc. Loved the room and all the artworks around the building. Breakfast delicious and waitress delightful. Would certainly stay again. Only drawback quite a bit of noise from traffic etc but what you would expect when so conveniently central."

"Wonderful stay and lovely view over beachfront to the wind farm. Nice walk along seafront to Whitstable. Staff very welcoming and Primrose our hearing dog enjoyed her stay, particularly the sausage for breakfast"

"A very clean, comfortable and homely stay at sea breeze in Whitstable. Having a parking spot in a cool space was a real bonus in the hot weather. Only drawbacks were that in the heat this is a vey hot house with no fans available to use. We needed to sleep with windows open and unfortunately there was a busy, noisy car park situated directly next to the house. Other than that this was a fantastic house to stay in. Only a short walk to the sea and the town centre."

The Loft, Whitstable

"The Loft was the ideal location to discover Whitstable for the first time. The loft is perfect for a couple or young family and was one of the few places we could find that was central and had reserved off-street parking. The loft itself was beautifully decorated with all the facilities needed for a 'home from home' stay. The location is excellent, with the apartment only a 2-minute walk from the beach and the high street, which features a great range of independent shops and a supermarket. Whitstable has a lot to offer and we enjoyed long walks along the seafront to Tankerton and back, always seeming to finish at the Old Neptune pub, which is only a few minutes' walk from the Loft. The Neptune is the perfect place to watch the sunset since the pub itself is right on the beach. We would not hesitate to return to the Loft in the future and will definitely be recommending it to friends and family."

"This house is delightful but unfortunately has been sadly neglected in certain areas...the patio window needs replacing, plinths in the kitchen are all loose, shower needs updating, lighting system is far too complicated in the rooms, some blinds are broken (in the garden lounge). When we were there it was baking hot and I can't believe that a house like this doesn't have a fan anywhere?! Also the outside table needs a parasol for baking hot weather! Only two saucepans in the kitchen and no colander! The house needed cleaning properly, all the kitchen cupboards were quite grubby on the fronts. Plinths in the bathroom are loose and grubby, window was impossible to open for ventilation and the skylight window was so difficult to open. The garden needs maintaining too, we felt sorry for the plants in the baking heat and did water the garden. It's a real shame, the house has been beautifully designed but just not maintained to the standard it really deserves - just mending broken stuff, a bit of care and attention and a proper good clean and this house would be perfect!"
