Freshly Renovated 1911 Historic Cottage- 60 Minutes to Grand Canyon

The Hancock Cottage was purchased by the current owners in 2016 and underwent an extensive renovation, opening in October 2016. This cottage will wow you with it's modern amenities and vintage charm.
This property is ideally situated on a hill in a safe and quiet neighborhood three blocks from Historic Route 66 where there is plenty of shopping and restaurants. The Grand Canyon Railway is within 5 blocks or a minutes drive. The view is amazing day or night! Williams is approximately 60 miles to the entrance of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
This lovely cottage is ideal for single or two family getaways who want to be close to the Grand Canyon, Railway, Polar Express, Bearizona, National Forest Land for hunting and fishing. This historic 1911 home has two bedrooms and one bath along with a sofa bed couch.
All the items necessary to make your visit pleasurable have been considered:
* Air conditioning/furnace
* Wireless internet throughout cottage
* Washer/Dryer along with laundry soap
* Gas oven/stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker, K-Cups, sugar and creamer
* All the kitchenware you need to make a gourmet meal: dishware, cups, basic spices, crockpot, blender, hand mixer, cookware...FULLY FURNISHED you only need to bring the food
* 60in smart TV in living room with Netflix access and a Blue Ray DVD Player
* NEW Sofa bed couch (queen), two arm chairs and recliner in the sun room
* Shower/tub combo with hand nozzle for washing the little one's. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided
* All linens provided: towels, hand towels, wash towels, extra sheet sets, blankets, etc.
* Queen beds (brand new), closets, armoires, alarm clocks
* Carpeted bedrooms
* Smart TV's in each bedroom with Netflix access
* Two private yards (upper and lower) both enclosed. Yard is shaded by beautiful large trees that provide a quiet naturalistic setting

The little bit of snow as we arrived was a nice surprise. The weather was excellent and the whole experience was Beautiful. The location and whole cottage was clean, cozy and well stocked with all we needed.

Beautiful Cottage

Really nice and comfortable,We stayed there before one time before during the summer two or three years ago that is why we wanted to stay there again but, this time during the winter cause we never been in Williams during the winter

Wonderful place to stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was very clean and well stocked. The furnishings are in good shape and comfortable. The location is very well suited for visiting the Grand Canyon, Sedona or any of the sightseeing areas. I highly recommend staying here.

Weekend Getaway from the heat

We had a wonderful stay! This home is small but so cozy with all the amenities you need! It took us a little over an hour to the Grand Canyon and a little over an hour to Sedona! Location was perfect! Would definitely stay again!

Great weekend getaway up north out of the heat

Came up from the valley with our kids to ride the Williams coaster and Zipline and explore the downtown. The home had everything we needed and was very convenient to everything in town. Neighborhood safe, walking distance to restaurants and shops, beds were comfy, very cozy! Would definitely stay here again! Owners had all the info you needed to enjoy the town and their home!

Cute & Cozy Cottage

Very welcoming and comfortable cottage with a surprising amount of amenities and a very well stocked kitchen! It felt like a home instead of a hotel, which was huge to us. Came for the weekend to celebrate my sister's birthday and get away from the Phoenix heat. Bearizona was a lot of fun and the drifting thunderstorms were wonderful.

Home Away From Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hancock Cottage.The cottage is welcoming, cozy, clean and comfortable. Love the decor too. You can’t ask for a better location. It’s within walking distance to dining and shopping and enjoyed historic Route 66. Within minutes to Grand Canyon Railway and Bearizona, also Safeway and Sunday Mass. Thank you Dara and Mike for providing us with a home away from home!

Quiet, relaxing place to stay

It's a cute, eclectic cottage in a quiet neighborhood in Williams. Just take care parking on the street as passengers may slip on the steep slope if you park too close to the edge. The cottage was very clean, with plenty of extra blankets available in the closets for cold nights, although the pillows were a little on the lumpy side. The heater works well and the kitchen is fully stocked. However, we couldn't find a broom to sweep with.

Dara is excellent. The cottage is super cute. We enjoyed being within walking distance of pretty much everything. We would have liked more television options. Some pans had been put away dirty. Beds are comfy. We will do again!

Nice locarion and comfortable furnishings

Nice location. Relatively quiet. Windy time so we were'nt able to use any of the outside area. Changing seasons up there so we needed some a/c the first day then needed the hearer the last three mornings. It's northern Arizona, be prepared for ant type of weather. Oh, watch out for black kitties with a white stripe after dark. Had a great time.
