"Cute house, felt welcoming upon walking in. Kitchen had everything needed for basic cooking, if you want a crock pot, etc, bring yours along. Bathroom is roomy, plenty of towels, etc.. beds were super comfy. House sits on a dead end street, 3/4 mile walk total, perfect for walking our dog.... Short path in woods as well, but apply bug spray. Visited several wineries, all within a 30 min drive. Walmart, abc store, fast food, etc just 4 miles away in Zion crossroads. Enjoyed firepit, used gas grill, enjoyed sitting outside on patio. Bring a fire stick or Roku for watching TV, if you choose to do so. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and would come again if we have the opportunity. Host replied to all inquires promptly..... Thank you for having us."

"I was in Charlottesville to move my son into his dorm at UVA. This place was awesome! It was very close to Grounds and easy to get to. It had everything you needed and was very clean. I received excellent communication about checking in and out and even was left a thank you gift. I would love to stay longer and take full advantage of all the amenities. Definitely another stay in my near future. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Charlottesville!"

"This property was lovely. My wife and I very much enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the views. The property was well kept and had an upscale feel to it. We enjoyed the peaceful evenings out on the front porch and the hot tub. My only complaint was that the kitchen was not very well stocked with "normal kitchen" stuff. There was no sponges for washing dishes and a standard spa chela. Not a big deal, but attention to detail matters. I would recommend a restocking of those small kitchen items to make the house more usable. Other than that, would definitely recommend this property to anyone!"

"Idyllic spot perfect if you need a place to relax and enjoy some R&R. The hot tub was clean, the backyard fairy lights were a great touch. Lots of spots to sit outside and enjoy the views."

"Truly like winning the VRBO lottery. This location was exceptional, the property was immaculate and sharp. There were not a lot of in rules, out rules and signs everywhere. It was an adulting dream- "you know how to be an adult and we trust you, Go relax". Do not skip out on walking or driving up to the Mountaintop, it was magical at sunset. It felt completely isolated and also just a sweet drive into town. We swooned at deer, we batted eyes with cow and we just kept looking out of the windows thinking: this person had a vision and they were spot on. Love to be here again. Do it, you won't regret it."

Charming Cottage on beautiful Farm & Vineyard

"We were in Charlottesville on a long wine-weekend; so what better place to stay than at a winery! It's a very cute property and very convenient. We had 2 dogs with us, so the fenced back yard was nice. I walk the dogs every day and the property is about 1/2 mile from the main road, so down and back makes for a nice walk. The winery itself has some very nice wines...since it's summer, we really enjoyed the viognier. The tasting room is 1 minute walk out the front door...so very easy to go get a bottle for the back deck where we could let the dogs run around. Would recommend it and would stay there again."
