Our historic property is situated on a main road, yet feels secluded and was one of the first settled in our county. Our farmhouse was built in 1840! There's a small cemetery on the property with tombstones from the civil war era, hiking trails where you can find treasures from the past, birds and wildlife galore.
Big plans and adventures start here! Lives have literally been changed from staying on our property. Come, dream, plan and start your future from the deck of your tent in our back field where you'll be afforded plenty of privacy.
We welcome all people of all races, cultures, gender identities and sexual orientation. We do not tolerate racism or bigotry on our property.
We can give you all sorts of tips about our favorite nearby outdoor, art or food attractions! Also great spots for fishing, hunting or kayaking!

We are hoping to keep our base rate low for more people to be able to enjoy our property. If you want the total glamping experience, just add extras!

Please note that many of the activities listed are nearby activities, not on site. Tentrr doesn't give us the option to click "nearby" vs "onsite". Message and ask if you want to know which!
*** Please note! It's getting VERY cold at night. We have a small gas space heater in the tent, but it will not maintain a warm temperature in the tent because - it's a tent! haha. Please be prepared with very warm clothes, sleeping bags and extra blankets. Our linen package includes sheets, a blanket, a quilt and one extra blanket, but honestly, you might want to bring sleeping bags and/or extra blankets during the cold months.
Historic farm across from the Susquehanna River.
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with farmers, ranchers, and other property owners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise.
Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed inside (each site is different, see photos for the exact setup). Larger groups can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided (you’re welcome to bring your own camping gear too). You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.
What you should bring:
-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling
-Bedding and pillows
-Lanterns and lighting
-Firewood for the campfire
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.
If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry!
Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.
These are other amenities, services, or activities that may be provided by your CampKeeper for an additional fee. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to add these to your booking so that we can process payment. Availability of any Extras are not guaranteed and must be confirmed at least 24 hours prior to check-in.

Other Things to Note:
Don't drive low riding vehicles up to the site. Your vehicle must be approved by us before driving to the site. It is a walkable distance from your car to the site if you can't drive to it. We will help you get your stuff too and from your site (1 trip in, 1 trip out) if you can't drive up.
PLEASE separate your recycling from the trash! We keep having guests fill the garbage with recycling and it's very upsetting to us. It's not good for the environment and it unnecessarily fills our garbage can (which we have to pay for pick up with items that don't need to be in it).
Please don't litter, that's totally uncool.
Please do keep dogs on leashes. We have a Livestock Guard Dog, Ursa and sometimes my son's dog (also a Livestock Guard dog) Harty visits. You are welcome to bring your dogs, but you really need to keep them at the campsite, Ursa is not friendly to other dogs. He is leashed, so it shouldn't be a problem as long as you keep your dogs at the site (and please clean up after them, of course).
Explore the property, take a hike, ask what we have growing in the garden, we love to share!
Please don't attempt to leave permanent markings of any type on our property.
Please do put your trash in the big green trash can by the camper at the entrance to our property.
Please put recycling in the recycling cans.
Please leave the property, tent, etc. as clean as it was when you arrived. If you break something, please offer to replace it.
If you used the dome tent, please carefully pack it all up, unless it is wet, then please leave it out to dry.
Please zip up all openings in the tent and close the clasps when you're leaving.
No need to clean up your dog's doo - as long as they're pooping out in the field in the high grass or in the woods. If they poop in the mowed areas, or within smelling distance, please do clean it up. There is a shovel at the site for this purpose.
