Cozy up to this charming slope side condo tucked away in the forests of Winter Park, the perfect mountain escape for your next vacation!

The Space:
Take a short walk, or better yet, ski right out the front door to the Winter Park Base Village where tons of additional snow-themed adventures await. In the warmer months, guests can enjoy guided hikes, ropes courses, an alpine slide, e-bike tours, and scenic gondola rides over the mountain. When you’re not hitting the slopes, the Iron Horse Resort in which this home is located features an abundance of additional onsite amenities such as year-round heated pool, hot tub, fitness room, onsite ski shop, and game room with foosball and ping pong when you're craving a little friendly competition. At the Ski In/Ski Out Studio, you’ll be at the center of excitement year-round!

Kick your boots off and relax on the comfortable living room sofa, warmed up by the gas fireplace while you catch up on your favorite shows on the smart TV. A private patio offers even more opportunities to stay in touch with nature, providing café table and chairs for 2 for the perfect place to take your morning coffee as you plan out your day. A dining room provides a table and chairs for 2 where you can take formal meals prepared in the full kitchen, equipped with all appliances and a Keurig coffee maker.

This studio home can comfortably sleep 2 adults and 2 small children between a queen size murphy bed and a full size sofa sleeper. The home also includes a full guest bathroom with a large vanity and shower/tub combo.

A 4x4 is recommended in winter.
Coin/card laundry available on site.

Iron Horse Resort offers a convenient slope side location with ski access via the Corridor Trail between Winter Park and Mary Jane (intermediate or better ability). An easy 2-block walk to the Winter Park Base Village and 2-1/2 miles from the Town of Winter Park, Iron Horse is also on the free local shuttle route.

Step outside and instantly enjoy over 3,000 acres available for downhill skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. During the summer months, play a little disc golf, hike and bike the many scenic trails, raft the river, and take the summer chairlift to the top for some incredible views. And when it's time to shop, dine, or grab a cup of coffee and relax, pay a visit to the Village, just a half-mile up the road.

Decent Place

We had a great time! Communication with the host was excellent and the location was good for skiing. That said, instructions for getting to the ski hill need to be clearer. There was very little information about how to access the ski in/out area from different parts of the building. Additionally, the garage and area outside of our apartment were under construction so the garage was closed. We were not notified ahead of time about this. It also would have been nice if coffee filters had been available in the apartment. Finally, partly due to snow, the dumpsters were not available to dispose of our trash at the end of the trip.

Great ski weekend

A great studio apartment with easy access to the slopes and an easy walk to the village. A perfect way to spend a long weekend. The unit and complex had everything we needed to make the weekend fun the unit had a decent kitchen for preparing meals and the complex had the game room and hot tub for after skiing

Mini ski trip

Other than the codes not working upon check-in, it was very nice. It got corrected, no other issues. We love the location, have stayed at the Iron Horse for years. This unit is above average.

Unit was great, property management left a lot to be desired

The unit itself was exactly as expected - clean, well stocked, efficient design, excellent water pressure. The property has excellent amenities. But the doors/walls/ceilings are very thin - you can hear everything, so it's not quiet. The main problem was the management company, Grand Welcome. I received the check in email with all the details, but it did not include the codes needed for the garage door, lobby, & unit. I called the day before arrival, & was told someone would get back to me. No one did. I called again the morning of, & after waiting some time I was finally given three codes - access code, common door code, and door code. I asked which code was which, & was told the access code was the garage, the common door was the lobby, & the door code was for the unit. Upon arrival, the access code wouldn't work for the garage door. I tried calling & was on hold for almost 20 min before I could speak to someone. (I did try all the codes, but I think because I wasn't typing in the correct # of digits, it wasn't working right.) After another long wait, I was finally told the common door code was the garage code, the access code was for the unit, & the door code was just the unit #. I understand if there was an issue, but having to wait on hold for 10-20 min each time is unacceptable. I also tried to do early checkin, & was told that I could call after 11 the morning of & they would have my unit cleaned first. But when I did that, I was told it wasn't possible. Annoying!

Perfect for skiing!

Great studio place - ski in/ski out, really nice furnishings and decor, perfect for a single person or couple!! Would definitely book again.
