"We stayed for two nights prior to renting a boat for a week on the broads. Central location, close to everything which was a huge plus since we did not have a car. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots to do in walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

Booked twin room through Hotels.com but, on arrival, we were informed only double (king size) beds. Door great - massive portions. Very popular location for food so book a table. Breakfast very good too. Best black pudding ever. Even if not home made the chef knew what to buy. Be aware it is a pub with rooms so no lift. Would stay again - if my wife could climb stairs easier. Thanks very much.

Very good hotel and great service. Breakfast was limited - i.e. 'normal' cooked breakfast and toast etc. but nothing extra (eggs Benedict, Smoked salmon). I normally only have poached eggs and they were excellent. There is a brilliant selection of local preserves for use with the toast. A more frequent top-up of spoons would be better. 12 or 16 jams, and only one spoon!
Dinner was not cheap. But it was very good.

Perfect stay. Clean (spotless), cosy warm and spacious room. Very dog friendly and to those who are not dog people you will find that they are kept on leads and fairly separate from the non dog residents, all in all very nicely done.
Plenty of car parking.
Then we get to the food - absolutely perfect with good sized portions, plenty of choice and reasonably priced.
The staff were excellent too - pleasant, helpful and enthusiastic but without being overbearing. Add all these things together and...
