The Clarence Gardens Hotel, BW Signature Collection

10/10 Excellent

"Nice hotel. Wind came through the windows Ndola which hindered sleeping."

The Clifton Hotel

8/10 Good

"Most lovely welcome from Julie the Manager, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean, mini fridge, room was nice and warm. Will definitely book again when they reopen in Spring"

Royal Whitby

10/10 Excellent

"Great location. Small but great room. Staff all friendly. Breakfast had a good choice"

Bike & Boot

8/10 Good

"The issue with the hotel is the parking. A great hotel for us and our dog but the parking was an issue as my husband is disabled and we couldn’t get parked near to the hotel"

The Plough Scalby

10/10 Excellent

"Yes, these rooms are above a pub but you can’t hear any noise. The appointments were like that of a luxury hotel. The staff worked behind the bar at the pub for the most part and they were extremely responsive to any request. Not sure many tourists find their way to this particular town, but if you’re anywhere near Scarborough, this is the place to stay."

Grand Hotel Scarborough

8/10 Good

"The room was cold no heating, the electric radiator didn’t work, we left a day earlier, my wife was freezing"

Saltmoore

8/10 Good

"We love this hotel the staff are amazing and polite very helpful, This is our third stay in two months the hotel is very clean and comfortable the breakfast also excellent cannot wait to visit again soon, Thank you for looking after us ."

The Talbot Hotel, Malton, North Yorkshire

10/10 Excellent

"We found The Talbot a very nice hotel. The only thing we didn’t like was that they added a 10% service charge onto our evening meal bill. The receipt said that this additional charge goes directly to the waitress and if you didn’t want to pay it you could ask for it to be removed. Any tip should be at the customer’s discretion. How embarrassing would it be to ask for them to remove it!! The hotel should make sure it’s staff are paid well so they don’t have to rely on customers’ tips. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay with the hotel being in a very good location for visiting Malton and surrounding areas."

Penny Hedge, Whitby by Marston's Inns
