"The cabin was nicely located on the river, but was a little loud at times from truck noise on the road. Interior was clean and comfortable. The code wasn't updated at check-in, and it took us about 5-10 minutes of standing outside at night to get it resolved. Also, the guest house lights randomly went on during our second evening and shone bright lights into the cabin. Manager did not respond until the next morning."

"The cabin at Hart's Overlook has a great panoramic view. Very intimate and cozy cabin. The hosts provided great details on the amenities. The hot tub is awesome!Furniture is comfortable and setting is great for an intimate time. Bring food to cook while there. It is an hour drive to a major city to get to supermarkets and restaurants. "My husband and two of our sons and their wives stayed here for an extended Thanksgiving get together. Each couple traveled approximately six hours from different directions . We were aware that this was a very secluded area and we were fine with that. Played a lot of pickleball and took walks on empty roads. Went in to Old Town Winchester for shopping and dining one day. Only about fifteen minutes and lots to see and do.If you’re looking for a real getaway, this place is great."
