Clean, staff really nice, just wish they actually changed the sheets and not just

Staff was unbelievably friendly and professional all around. Seleem front desk was very professional, Sabrina Ortiz was terrific, and Chris who's at the front door was very polite he made us feel at home immediately. Thank you

The hotel was spotless. My room was very nice and spacious. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet and there was no noise from other rooms or the hallways.

Few challenges with this property. 1. No elevator in certain areas. No issue for us but just so you are aware. 2. The coffee maker is from 1926 - it’s time to upgrade it. There were no stirrers in the room. Skimpy on Sugar and milk packets - not sure why 3. Room was cold because there is NO heaters and one of the days temperature dipped in Miami. Front desk said they would provide space heaters but did not 4. The shower is complicated to operate. Again they need to be upgraded. There were like three settings and not clear how that worked. The rain shower was not powerful at all 5. There was no switch for the exhaust in the bathroom so it ran for 24/7. The noise didn’t come outside in the room but just so you are aware. 6. With all the trees and distance from the beach, overlooking the beach is a bit of stretch. Yes, the beach is definitely visible if you choose such a room but the feel of overlooking the beach was not there. Overall, South Beach is great! Happening place. Lot of food options. Lot of music and activity bustling throughout the day.

The unit was not properly cleaned. Furniture is dated and need replacing. The Unit needs some TLC.
