Quaint and quiet Hotel.

This was a truly outstanding place to stay in Heraklion. The location was perfect, the staff are amazing and the rooms are upscale. Everything was perfect, would definitely stay here again and recommend this place, 10/10!

We had a lovely stay in our bunglow with the sea views. There are 3 restaurants but only buffet was open. This should be mentioned on the website. Staff are friendly, spa was amazing and good entertainment. Would stay here again.

Great stay, staff was very helpful for recommendations. Only downfall is the parking is difficult which it is for most hotels in the area

A perfect stay by the sea. Lovely boutique hotel calm & welcoming. Excellent staff and good breakfast and fabulous restaurant.

The hotel is beautiful, public spaces are not modern but very well kept, outdoor areas are beautiful with plenty of open space for the kids to run around. We had 2 classic double rooms and one 2BR Mythika suite, the classic rooms were OK, decent size, in good condition but could use some refreshing. The Mythika suite was amazing, spacious, renovated, cleaned a few times through the day and included tasty goodies (fruits, wine, etc). Mythika guests receive private beach seating, benefits at restaurants (which we didn't use as are our party were not entitled) and free late check-out up to 6PM! (which was fantastic as our flight was late). Beach and pools are very cozy, there's a shortage of sunbeds in the big pool but we managed. Parts we liked less: The water park, it's in all the hotel pictures on Expedia, and the hotel's FB an IG pages advertised the new park set to open in the beginning of the season. Unfortunately the park wasn't ready, it's set to open soon and we weren't offered an alternative. Other points: Hotel has lots of stairs, there are some elevators but they are small and slow. AC in the rooms works only in the afternoons, problematic in hot days and during the night (hotel could only offer a rattily noisy fan as a solution). Apart from the beautiful kids club we found the animation schedule a bit lacking. And finally, some of the staff are not as friendly as you'd expect for a 5* resort, we found ourselves having to "nudge" some of them into helping at times.

Location and facilities were great although quite noisy at times. Staff were all lovely and willing to help in any way they could. Staff came to the beach a few days giving watermelon and drinks to everyone that wanted it which was a nice touch. Rooms were good but not 5 star with broken tiles and room cleaning was erratic ( some items replaced some days and not others)
