Extremely disappointing experience. Poor management and terrible communication, especially at the front desk. Management struggled to communicate in English and was unable to properly resolve basic guest concerns. For a resort that markets itself to international travelers, this level of service is unacceptable. I would not recommend this resort to American or other English-speaking travelers. Definitely not worth the money.

I was disappointed, the hotel is old, dirty and needs serious updating.
I left the day I checked in and stayed elsewhere down the street.
Barceló upper management should invest some serious money in updating and improving this hotel because the location is good and the staff could do better with better resources.

Everything was great! From the entrance to exit. Room, pools, food, drinks, service, people! Santiago was a great help. The ocean was a little bit upsetting though, I guess not a season in the middle of August.

***Bartenders at the main beach pool can use some supervision and guidance since the took their sweeeeeeet time to serve..That happened for 2 days and thru the whole day .Other than that ; highly I will recommend this beautiful resort to anyone thanks
