Room as expected accept so hot! Hosts had left a fan and cold drinks and lollies to help, but it was difficult to sleep at 33 degrees in the room - much cooler in the corridors and 25 degrees outside. Good location - able to walk to city centre but unbearably hot in room!

Not a clean property and very much in need of a refurb. Lots of dirt, hairs in the bathroom, thick dust and grime. Lots of the appliances were in need of replacing, second bathroom sink hanging off the wall, tap in kitchen about to come off, mattresses were absolutely awful. Property was very noisy also

Amazing stay would love to go back again

Overall an okay stay. Stayed for 1 night with 2 young children while visiting Cardiff. Wanted to use the pool when we arrived at approx 4.30pm. Children aren’t allowed in the pool after 5pm!!! So we weren’t allowed to use that facility. This was the main reason we booked this hotel - to use the pool! Room was clean and comfortable apart from no air con. There was a fan provided but it was useless - no air came out of it. The room was very hot over night! TV in the room has very little signal. Food was really good, but quite expensive. You have to pay for parking which is annoying as most other hotels give free parking if staying at the hotel. and especially since this car park is specifically for this hotel!! Staff were nice and helpful. We used Tesco vouchers to cover the cost of the room thinking it was be a ‘free’ night away - it wasn’t!! With everything else added on top, it worked out quite expensive. If we had paid for the room ourselves, without vouchers, i wouldn’t have been happy at all given the price of the room. Would probably look to book a different hotel next time.

Lovely welcome from the check in staff very polite and helpful. Room lovely clean and comfortable. Bar and restaurant staff very polite and welcoming.had breakfast which was delicious lots of variety. Will definitely be booking to stay again.

We loved our stay - property was clean and in good condition, and walkable to everything we wanted to do. Would stay here again. Pro tip - there’s a coffee shop run out of a church about a block away. Hours are atypical, but great coffee and the nicest people on planet earth!!!
